Since we're speaking of color - here are the colors and the glands/organs they are said to stimulate:
Red - Liver
Orange - Thyroid
Orange - Mamary
Yellow - Choroid
Lemon - Pancreas
Lemon - Thymus
Green - Pituitary
Blue - Pineal
Indigo - Parathyroid
Violet - Spleen
Magenta - Suprarenals
Magenta - Prostate
Scarlet - Testicle
Scarlet - Ovary
Other notes:
Red = circulation, vitality, energy, warmth
Pink = not for temperamental or excitable or nervous people
Orange = enthusiasm, vitality, relief for ulcers, increased blood pressure
Yellow = laxative, stomach and intestine, arthritis, stimulates kidneys
Lemon Yellow = blood purifier, antacid, kidneys
Green = Whole body healer, builds muscles, dissolves blood clots, optic nerve
Yellow-Green = regeneration of the body
Blue-Green = calming
Turquoise = burns, skin healing
Blue = fevers, depressant/sedative, calming
Indigo = bronchitis, nervous ailments, lung, nasal, whooping cough
Violet = bladder, epilepsy, scalp and skin disorders, depression of overactive glands
Purple = vascular dilation, induces sleep, indigestion
Magenta = heart disorders, kidney stones

Hmmmmm... makes me think there's something more to a person's favorite color than just what appears pleasing to them
Once I got into crystals a little bit, I began carrying the ones that I thought might be helpful for that day. Then I realized I'd been dressing in those colors intuitively.

I have also noticed that the colours I choose for the day reflect the mood I am in! I have even used colours to boost my confidence ( I wear red), brighten my mood (orange, yellow), and black for some reason always makes me feel sexy. ???? Go figure!!
Another topic here: I did some reading last night and I can now finally put a name to my main inner talent...I am clairsentient. Okay, now what??? lol
I had a question posed to me recently, that I don't believe I answered sufficiently. I work a little differently, I find, than most empaths. So, to help my friends....how does an empath 'block' him/herself from being overwhelmed with another's negative emotions? I personally do not use any rituals, I just go 'within' myself, collect the 'white light' around myself, and let it do the work. How do you do it?
One more thing....back to Christianity and the Bible ....in First Corinthians 12, spiritual gifts are discussed. Nine are listed, and everyone is given atleast one. Here I was always afraid of being a heretic or something because I had these intuitive moments, and then I came across this topic in the Bible, and I cannot express how relieved I was!

I believe that collective consciousness is very powerful Empath. People have prayer lists for folks that are in stressful situations.
Here is the tricky part......well one of the tricky parts.
Asking Spirit or whatever to help out Beachnutru.....as opposed to my real name..........Theopoulous Leviticus.......  How do we handle our screen names. Lots of us are Anonymous and don't know that your real name is Minnie Mouse.........
You think Spirit can do that?
I don't know so its just a hypothetical question. 
For you Empath......just because  3 thumbs up which makes that person ....alien.

Methinks Spirit already has to translate a myriad of Human language into Spirit so names aren't an issue.
Could we reach out and lend our energy to each other?
It's not our energy but I think we can provide each other additional conduits.

I don't think that names would pose a problem either, especially since most of us have pictures uploaded. Although, I think pictures only provide a tangible object with which to focus on. My personal belief is that we each have an individual energy stamp, and that is what I would attempt to connect with.
Is thought not a type of energy then?
Here is what I am thinking.....
If I should happen to think of one of you, out of the blue you pop into my head, I will stop what I am doing, and focus on your essence (??), and open my mind to any messages that might find me. If I sense a need, I could then 'send' any assistance I can offer.
If I should need assistance, I will attempt to send out a call for help. So...if I should pop into your head, out of the blue, could you try to 'send' me some aid?
I am not certain if this is what a prayer group does. I had assumed that each individual offered up a prayer, believing there was strength in numbers yes, but not quite in the same way as I mean. I do agree that they are trying to achieve the same goal though.
Collective Conscious...makes me think of 'Borgs'... (sorry, couldn't resist)
Just thinking......again.........any thoughts appreciated!!

Some people are stronger "senders" and some are stronger "receivers", depending on your personal abilities......but, the more you "use it" the stronger, better you get at it......or so I have been told. And don't forget, because of the different abilities i.e. clairsentient, clairaudient, clairvoyant, etc……you will receive or send your messages with your own personal charm, and hopefully the receiver or sender can pick it up and recognize and understand the message for what it is…….

I think Carl Jung through his study of metaphysics in conjunction
with psychology hit on a mile stone wave of thought.
The human consciousness consists in three parts:
1. Conscousness (who we know we are in awakeness)
2. Subconsciousness (the personality and experiences
we suppress from the surface self we show others)
3. Supra-consciousness (who we are at the soul/essence level)
This third deepess level is all knowing of everything that ever
happened and will happen to you in this planned "school of
life" and beyond further in what we can conprehend with our
human limits of understanding.
I think prayer in "Union" with others, magnifies the powerful
though energy and is the undercurrent of reasoning behind the
prayer group. This union of energy is a universal metaphysical law that knows no boundries or categories limited by "Religion".
Positive prayer with good intentions, is merely a magent of good intentions by a group for whatever positive goal they need.
Therefore, it doesn't matter what name anyone has, nor race, nor
religion. We are all "connected" to universal energy, come from it and will return once again to it. They say in the books I've read in
metaphysics/spirituality that all information ever experienced in the universe is collectively held in place on the "zero plane". Further reading on the Quatum Physics chapters of the books I recommended elaborate more on this concept. Personally, I believe that the "Zero plane" in Quatum Physics, or collective conscousness (consisting of magnetic electric ions), is the God/Goddess force we all seem to sense is there and want to know more about...

So .....when applying one or more of these healing techniques that we have all been discussing, what one is essentially doing, is altering the resonance of one's personal aura, to a higher (octave?) level.

Maybe... Who knows for SURE. The way I look at it, the healing techniques attempt to tune one's resonance to where it belongs - so that it is in perfect tune - in perfect harmony with the universe. It doesn't have so much to do with raising it to different octaves. As we know, playing middle C on the piano vibrates ALL the C's. When you are in harmony with the universe, that perfect harmony extends to the lowest and highest planes/dimensions and resonates. As with the voices that are out of key in a choir, the more of us around that voice who are in harmony with the universe, the easier it is for the out of tune voices to find the right notes. As we tune ourselves, we help tune the universe.

Pete, is resonance therapy anything like sound therapy where a person listens to different tones that are supposed to heal different ailments? I've read a little about it and wonder if anyone can tell me more and if it really works.

Gee, Sweet_Gal...sound and resonance are Pete's realm, but he seems to have gotten busy....but I didn't want to leave you hangin'!
It sort of makes sense that resonance and sound would work the same way. I have no experience with using it to heal, but I do know that music can alter my mood dramatically, even with out lyrics. Hang in there, someone will come by and straighten it all out for us....
And yes, Pete, I knew that you would be able to say it better than I could! Adjusting the 'note' fits better than changing octaves. Thanks!
