what can I say this thread is still going stong and as far as I know all involved have thier clothes on for the most part anyway.......
We're supposed to have clothes on? 
And let's not forget rose quartz... the love crystal.
We all need to be carrying rose quartz so we can get out of these dating sites.
Oh, this isn't a dating site, is it....
I usually carried heart shaped clear quartz, rose quartz, and carnelian. Purity, romance, and passion. Lately, I've been carrying tiger eye, rutilated quartz, and turquoise. I can't remember their qualities individually but they're for other people to help me get what I want. I want a job and I need interviews, and references, and someone to give me that job for which I'm qualified. Since I've begun carrying these, I've had more phone calls and interviews. I'll go back to the others after I get my new job.
Once when I was really upset, I selected moonstone for balancing emotion, amazonite for healing, and clear quartz for boosting the others. I held them to my heart while walking to the other end of the hall. I honestly could tell a difference in my emotions by the time I reached the other end of the very short hallway as if I'd had an injection of a calming drug.
I like stones in threes.

rose quartz is a very healing crystal also. of course love is healing so rose quartz love crystal healing crystal.......its all good..amethyst is healing stone too. I got to get a medicine bag I am being depleted by my job and don't feel grounded.
Suggestion anyone.

You might try finding some green kyanite. It, as well as the quartz, are supposed to be the only 2 gemstones that don't need charged. Green kyanite is for keeping your chakras aligned, plus more, but I can't remember off hand. Check out the website I mentioned earlier in response to Empath's question. It's very good at explaining what each crystal is good for. You also might try Reiki.

It almost seems like this is more of a friendly, visiting with others site instead of a dating site. I can't remember the last time Ive had a date from here, but have "met" some great people online.
Sounds like you're a bit overloaded (mentally) at your job. Hopefully, it won't last long. 
Oh, another thing to help you get (and stay) grounded.

Suzie...I'm with you on the stones, but have found my energy can't handle 3's, makes me jumpy like too much caffeine. I love the look of amber, but even a small stone effects me the same way. Gentler stones, like rose quartz and moonstone seem to resonate at the right vibration for me.

Question for you rock purists.........Amber is techincally not a rock, right? It is petrified tree sap, sometimes with little bugs in it. It is pretty enough to look at.......but as far as it's vibrational levels, etc....isn't more along the plant vs rock side? Just curious.......

I work with someone who produces "medicine bags" of a sort. They are gem vials in which many gems and materials are suspended in a clear, viscose liquid. They are quite beautiful. I design the gems so that they can be cut. The criteria I use for gem design (faceting) is based on sacred geometry and numerology (I may have mentioned this earlier in this thread). Apparently, he sells a lot of them, so it seems people want this sort of thing.

Maybe you need to look in the right direction. I have a funny story if I can tell it right.
Whenever I go to the beach, I like to look for sea glass. I almost always find some. Some days I find more than others. One day, as I was walking, I really hoped to find at least one piece. I'm walking along and enjoying the walk, thinking occasionally, "Please, just one piece of sea glass. One is all I need today." Finally, as I was turning to go to the stairs toward the parking lot -- where I NEVER find sea glass. I sighed, "Just one?" And there it was, the biggest piece of sea glass that I've ever found. I laughed out loud. I had this visual of angels lightly tossing sea glass my way -- repeatedly -- and shaking their heads as I missed each and every one. One said, "Okay, if she can't see THIS one, we knock her in the head with the next."

I'm not sure where that would be. I swear, the angels need to just drop the right guy on my head. I'm signed up on a number of dating sites. I either get "not interested" or, "you have a great profile and I really like your profile, but...." 
So, that's not the one for me.
Maybe I just need to quit checking every other day or every day for new members of these sites and just live my life without searching "him" out.
"They" say, "good things come to those who wait"...maybe I'm supposed to wait instead of search. 
Or I could make an outfit of rose quartz.

Susie I have walked some of the same beaches in Florida that you have and feel stoopid BUT what the heck is sea glass? That is all I will ask.......thanks for future answers....paying it forward.
You know there is another thread on Mdoc about being nice to folks......some answers aren't as good as the ones we get on Meta thread here we are still going strong....like we hold this thread to the light. This thread has been as good as any I have ever typed on.

We've all tried to provide our opinions.
It's glass that's been washed ashore. It's turned frosty and the edges are smooth from being tumbled in the ocean. The most common colors are brown, clear, and green. I've found blue and even a purple piece once. You can buy broken tumbled glass in craft stores but I like the real stuff.
Some of my posts are gone. I replied to three different posts. I should have put them all into one thread because apparently, the moderater is being a stickler for serial posting. Sorry, I don't remember what the two missing posts said or I'd repost. Beach saw his response, I see, so that's good.

My pc crashed this week, and I have missed you guys sooooo much!! I am glad to find you all still here...
The more people that join this thread, and the more information and insight we share with each other, the closer we become, and the stronger our Web grows. I design the gems in 3D on computer so that a gem cutting machine can cut the gems. The gems are often way too small and have way too many facets to be done by hand. Only machines have that kind of precision.

I have an odd kind of question here...ok here goes. I have a couple of hematite rocks. I have read that they have found hematite on Mars actually, have any of you ever heard of this? It's a strong rock. Two of the things that it's supposed to be good for is balancing and healing since it's actually magnetic. There's tons more information on this little rock, but these are just two of the factors. What do you think?

Well, for one, I'll agree..hematite is very strong...you can usually feel the magnetic charge just by holding it in your hand, and I've noticed keeping hematite with only hematite just makes it stronger. I've had other stones that it has seemed to "drain" the energy out of, so yes...strong.
As far as finding it on other planets..doesn't surprise me. I would imagine all the planets are made up of basically the same type of rock matter anyway.

I have wanted to find some of these stones you guys speak of, but I really don't know where to look for them. Are there other places than jewelery stores where they can be purchased? And would they be just as expensive?
The stones I would like to find are onyx, obsidian, moonstone, rose quartz, and there is a greenish one as well for healing, but I cannot remember which it was.

I was in a new age bookstore yesterday that had bins of gemstones and that's the type of place I usually find them. If you want, I'd be happy to send you some...send me a shopping list!
Oh! Thought of another place too. Have you ever been in gift shops that had bins of stone and you could fill up a little bag for $1. I've gotten gorgeous stones at places like that, and you can even get gemstone beads in bead stores.
Let me know, I will be near the store again next weekend.

What a wonderful thread. I'm still reading through it but I'd just like to say that it is quite interesting to see that many differing theories seem to lead towards a similar "truth". Even though the "truth" is a long way off for humanity at large, I can't help but feel that with each sharing of knowledge and open-minded discussion, we take another step towards what we seek.
