Unlike you I know as long as I live that thought maker will do it's job, which is to think! They [thoughts] will never go anywhere just change period, yes one can stream line them, learn to control a bit but still...that thought maker continues.
Yeah yeah, you will go off and explain this or that, give one explanation after another but my understanding comes from just watching my mind not reading or studying someone else's. It is something I know not something I read then agree upon, nod my head and go " yes we are so wise that we have READ this"
Hmm, I have to ask yo a question now, what do you consider self? (when i say you i mean YOU not chit you have read)

This has always been true. Many of the Masters were condemned for what they said yet could not say more.
Jesus is the finest example. However, more light seems to come forth these days on the secrets of the gnostics in his case.
The masters have tiers of secrecy to the knowledges they know.
Would hardly be proper to explain and demonstrate the working of astral travel now would it and pester your local guru!  Or methods to raise the Kundalini to woo your favourites

It is not my understanding that it wouldn't be proper, but that it would be dangerous. Knowledge is power, and power in the wrong hands.... or minds.... even I, with my vivid imagination, cannot fathom the consequences.

Exactly true. What would happen is the person who "tries" will karmically fall as well as the teacher through the consequences of actions.
This is evident in all buddhist teachings especially with the wonderful teachings of Milarepa, Tibets Great Yogi. At first he was mad, and crazied for all the harms that came his way he used powers for the dark side and then repented to the good and became the greatest of all in attaining wisdom and compassion. His bad master treated him nice and well and like a son. His good Master treated him rotten and bad and caused him much suffering.
Alas, when people whine about what they dont know or how badly they get treated here its only because thats what they are asking for ultimately. They ask for this help.
Might be of interest, there has been a movie released just recently. "Milarepa". The second movie will be out in spring.

I, for one, would be very interested. I am hoping... ahem, yes, I know better than that... that come spring, I will be 'settled', and able to devote time to higer learning.
Recently, I have felt a 'pull' ... a yearning, perhaps?.... towards growth. I feel within like a flower opening to the sun's rays (a lotus comes to mind), and I know there is something for me to grasp.

Is apologetic a good thing? 
I thank you for your kind words of support and encouragement, but I don't think the "true" me comes through clearly. I talk well, but follow through poorly.  I am strongly hoping I will learn this from Touch, for whom achieving is vital.

Way back near the beginning of this thread, there was talk... hee hee.... of music therapy, colour therapy, etc. I would love to come back to this subject, if anyone knows anything about it. I truly believe life is akin to music, that tones emanate from everything, and that when two or more tones harmonize, good things happen.
...but that's just my way of thinking...

I agree.
Music most definitely impacts us on a large scale , and it's only logical, to me, that different sounds would have different effects - that music, or tones, not only have the effect of healing, but of hurting as well, depending on how they are put together.
