Hey everyone, regarding pschometry....
What about antiques? I have quite a few.
They say residual energy does linger on with "Objects" once
owned by others.
And this is something strange....I purchased an old bedroom set
with a circa date of 1912 from Maryland. I loved it because it had
a vanity set that went with it....Here's something strange....
After moving several years later, I found an envelope stuck in
the back of one of the drawers.... The former woman's address
was on "Burton Road". I in turn, build and moved into a new
home in a different state on a "Burton Road". Kind of freaky huh?
I also have this large Mahogany Victorola (spelling?) complete with
a full range of records, even the ones dating back to the first Thomas
Edison record additions. These records are about 2 inches thick, no kidding!
The strange thing about this is sometimes it seems the spring will spin
and it plays on its own.. (I always leave a record on it inside)....
My favorite record is the old sound track to the "Little Rascals"...
so fortunate to have that one...and I love the Twenties Fox Trot love songs too.
Someone told me I should do a "smudging or cleansing of such things".
Also Sweet Gal in regards to Photo psychometry or photo analysis...
I once had a psychic reading where the woman requested a picture
of myself and my then husband....She was right on the button about
his ways....and how it would all end too.... amazing...
Empath....So glad you're finally "Hooking" up with the new love interest!

OK, here's a question. Recently, someone told me that "my guy" and I have been together previously, and in this lifetime, we will once again be together to complete our karmic circle.
Could someone please explain to me what that means?....to complete one's karmic circle.

Meadowlark that is a fascinating story about the Victorola.....made by RCA Victor. not sure of the spelling either.
I would not smudge the area unless the energy bothered me. If the energy is friendly maybe embrace it and use it for protection. I love to have a couple of spirits around. I remember an old black and white show on TV called Topper......wonderfully funny show but about ghosts. Also the Ghost and Mrs Muir. I haven't thought of either of those shows in 30 years why they popped out I don't know but enjoy the spirits.

Wow! Beachnut I can't believe you mentioned those two Ghost
shows/movies.... The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, my absolute favorite
old timer movie with Gene Tierney and Rex Harrison!.(I have the video
and can't tell you how many times I've watched it). A sweeping
romantic epic....and yes I remember Topper too, I remember seeing
that movie... Gotta love the old Hollywood!
Do you really think my phonograph it may be haunted???
It does love to "Play itself"....
The phonograph is actually a "Sonora" from the Sonora Phonograph Company
manufactured in New York. Very high quality and wonderful condition, with a large
brass cranking handle on the side of it.... I don't get any bad feelings from it
at all, in fact I sense very sentimental feelings from the darn thing....
It beckons every guest that visits me to "Please play it".... Funny
I saw the estate sale that had this phonograph in the newspaper. It was
on a Saturday and thought oh well, can't make it because I have to
work that particular day, and felt disapointed about it....Then the next
day I was driving on the road...I was distracted by little yellow signs,
it was to the Estate Sale with the phonograph....I ended up as the first one there before any antique dealers and brought it at a steal price immediately....
Fate....Big Smile....I think who ever owned it probably thought I'd take good care of it...they're right...
Other antiques with special positive energy from it is an elaborately carved Mahogony Civil War era piano from Chicago...the company that made it burned down during the Great Chicago Fire. And I have this mesmerizing
antique stained glass window. Very large, with a huge moon, with a pyrimid
and dove geometric shapes in the center. There is a large arch of grapevines around the edges. Massive and beautiful example of the "Arts and Crafts"
era of stained glass. A stained glass restorer had to change out two small pieces but said the glass, some with infused copper was produced in Paris about the
1870's....Very creative good energy from that piece too!
Sweet Gal about your partner and Karmic connections....yes they call this
Soul Mates. This is where the both of you are working out lessons from
past experiences with each other from other life times...The dynamics all
depend on exactly what happened between the two of you...Many books
out there also suggest that we reincarnate in "Groups"...Where it's not just
a romantic partner that you work out past karmic situations, but also with
your family members, friends and others you encounter in your life path.
Now many people get confused between "Soul Mates" and "Twin Souls"....
Twin Souls is truly your other half of who you are.....there is no karmic
debt, just complete harmony...We mostly reincarnate with a Soul Mate
where we exchange karmic lessons. Only with a Soul Mate, can we
actually, learn, improve upon and transcend our current spiritual, (energy
vibrational levels) to something more pure and higher....

I think I mentioned before that I was taught how to do this, and yes, it is amazing. I have only read 2 or 3 pictures. The most recent was 2 days ago (after a 1-2 years from the last reading) and I was surprised that I still have "it".
A friend of mine read a pic for me as well (we exchanged readings) and wow....she's good! I come up with short things such as, "had a hard life....buried a son or sons....very proud person" and am right, but not with the detail my friend can give. But I'm told to enhance these gifts, one must practice, practice, practice! I also have a pic a coworker gave me to read of 3 of her friends. I have not even looked at it, but already sense something. Crap, I need to get that done. I've held it for over a week.
I agree totally with Beach. Don't smudge unless you feel a negative energy. Embrace the good and repell the bad.

Thanks so much for the explaination. So since I was told that we are to complete our karmic circle in this lifetime, I would think that we both are going to learn a lesson together (and I'm beginning to "see" what the lesson is...and we seem to have the same basic lesson).
As a result of learning the lesson, both of us will transcend to a higher level, so in the next lifetime, both of us (not clear if we would be together again if we completed this karmic circle) would choose differerent lessons to learn and that in turn would help us to achieve an even higher energy level.....or would we have easier lessons to learn the next go around?
Sometimes I just type and the words just flow, but I'm not sure if I am making sense to anyone, so if I totally fudged this up, let me know and I'll try my best to clarify.
Anyways, I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.

Empath.....what's up with the resistance/fear factor regarding psychometry???
If you would not mind expanding on that one a bit.....just curious......if it is true fear......one needs to "turn and look/face the fear"....and will find there is no sound basis for it (the fear) and if there is, by addressing it, one will work through it. Right?
I'm really not sure, Red. I just know that I get very tense, and actually feel shaky inside.... .....and it is a feeling I really don't like having to deal with. Sweet_gal says I am not bad at it, and that makes me feel even worse..(nothing you've said or done, hon)......anyone got any ideas why I have this reaction to reading pictures? Note to self: I am NOT psychic!!

I know I've got a few antiques, but I've stopped since I've moved into
a smaller place after my divorce...
Sweet gal....Yes, you will typcially reincarnate with a Soul Mate...
Twin Souls are reserved mostly for once you "Return" to your original
state of being...beyond...there's nothing to "Learn" in life from a
Twin Soul spirit in perfect harmony....You are probably feeling a connection
and "Soul Mates' can be very happy, healthy situations...not always bad!

The "shakey inside" feeling, goosebumps, etc....is your physical body telling you something.....that you are having a reaction to whatever "it" is.......you need to learn to listen and go with the flow. It is kind of like an alarm clock, waking you up and telling you, you are on the right track ........and listen!!! Don't be afraid, turn it around to be a good indicator that you are on the right track....like the turkey timer....popping up when the bird is done !  Was that not simple enough????

Red: How can a feeling that feels 'yucky' mean that I am 'on the right track'? I got the feeling before I looked at any picture.......just the thought of doing it......I don't think it is something I am supposed to be doing....I think I am supposed to focus my energies in another direction....like visualization, meditation, and energy healing. That stuff feels 'right' to me. Resonance and vibration, and anything remotely related, fascinate me, and draw me.....like Quantum........anything!! LOL
I am still looking for information relating to Quantum Touch .....
An interesting thought 'popped' into my head when thinking about reading pics......remember how (I believe it was the natives) people used to be afraid of pictures, believing that the camera 'stole' the soul and trapped it in the picture...not that I am suggesting it to be true, just interesting how it came back to me at such a point in time.......
BTW, did I just miss it......or is there still a question from Lacy regarding scalar waves, hanging in the air waiting for an answer from ........PEEEE-EEETE Where did that guy go now??????

I do listen, Hon......and it tells me 'Wrong Way'.....even if only for the time being...after all, as a Gem, I am easily distracted from my path.....LOL......
Tonight, on the full moon, I am going to try to find out who my animal totem(s) is/are, and/or spirit guides........can I do both on the same night? Maybe not at the same time, but on the same night?......

I think susieq is on to something. I think the answers to each of our questions are within us. In the past, I have used journalling to find those answers. Formulate good questions: Who is the face in the mirror? Is psychometry something that would be useful to me and something I should practice or in which I should participate or should I just abandon any consideration of it? Are there significant messages in the feelings I have regarding scrying and/or psychometry? If you pause long enough, the right questions for you will come to you.
I write the questions down and then walk away from them. The answers always come -- they are with you already anyway.

Empath - Spirit guides and animal totems are often the same. Our spirit guides come to us in the forms most acceptable to us (or most repulsive, if they're trying to turn us away from something harmful), and they come when they come. A ceremony is always a good thing, as it shows respect, which they deserve, and love which draws them closer. Blessings on your journey.
It does seem you're putting a lot of negative energy into insisting that you're NOT psychic. Has to be fear, and obviously you do have strong connecting energy, which is, hate to tell you, psychic. Stop fighting with it. It loves you. Nothing will happen that can harm you on this plane. When you meet your guides, as I'm sure you will, they will help you with this. The first step is to create your inner sanctuary, where you are always safe and loved. Once that's done, your spirit always has a home.
Choose love over fear.

Empath - I didn't know that the thought of reading photos made you feel so awful.  I only thought you weren't comfortable because you were new to it and weren't sure you could do it at all. If I'd have known, I wouldn't have asked you. I'm really sorry about that.
Note to self: I am NOT psychic!!
Reading a photo (psychometry) for me, is being able to pick up the vibrational energy from the photo and "knowing" (sensing) about the person's past. To me (and I am probably incorrect here) a psychic can look into the past as well as into the future.
But whatever is told of the future....it's important to remember that we all have free will and not everything is set in stone. We have the power to change things. Such as your energy healing. You have the power to change things for the good.
Were you taught growing up that it's bad/evil/a sin to try to see into the past/future? (more like "sense")
I'm sorry I asked you to do something (read a photo) a second time when it made you feel so "yucky" inside. If I had known that, I would not have asked.

Yes, I was taught it is a sin to 'look into a crystal ball'. Sweet_gal...it wasn't until you asked me the second time that I had those feelings.....the first time I was excited to try.......but when I was accurate, I got scared.....not your fault, and I could always have declined, but I did it again to test myself.....I had to know if it was luck, or talent/ability.......please don't be concerned that you did something wrong, because you DID NOT, okay? I thank you for making me aware of this whole issue.
