as I understand these things (through a lifetime of inquiry, but with no claim to "expert" status) Spiritual is all about intent - positive and loving connection to the spirit that flows through us as aware beings. Psychic is a term with many connotations that imply "medium" (one who communicates with spirits not on this plane), "mind-reader" (usually just someone who reads physical "tells" and says what a person wants to hear), "fortune teller" (someone who reads tarot, palms, crystals, crystal balls, water, tea leaves, etc., usually for money, sometimes just for fun, sometimes scams, often not). Each of us interprets these terms according to our own life experience, as when you say you were told it was a "sin" to look into a crystal ball. These prejudices, passed down for centuries, have been responsible for the ostracizing, even killing of wise women, shamans, and often anyone who "just didn't fit in", so that being "psychic" became in many ways equated with BAD or SINFUL. In truth, it's just using the instruments we are given, body and mind, to receive and interpret the energy that is all around us, all the time. Each individual has unique gifts, as he or she has unique fingerprints or artistic talents. As with any talent, it's as bad or good as YOU make it. Ignoring it or avoiding it is kinda like owning a car but keeping it locked in the garage because improperly used it could hurt you. Love yourself and your talents and express gratitude to the Spirit who allows it to flow through you, and those talents will grow in loving and positive ways.
Yes, I feel sure that your guides will come to help you with this.

I do know I didn't do anything wrong by asking you to read the photos. And I am aware that it makes you feel uncomfortable to even think about using psychometry.
Something my pastor/psychic/medium/all around neat guy.... told me once is yes, we all have the ability to "tap into" our higher selves and use that energy for good or evil. What matters is your INTENT.
I realize not everyone believe in God, that there is a god, or even a higher power. But when I surround (envision) a white light around someone who needs to be healed, I am sure to ask God to help heal that person. I always make Him a part of the experience. It's not much different than praying....just the visual has been added, and I don't recite a prayer. It comes from my heart and my mind....not someone else's written words.
Envisioning negative energy around someone to cause spiritual or any other type of harm is wrong in my book.

Empath, Past life regression is done through hypnosis. I don't know much about it because it's not something that I've looked seriously into doing. Maybe someone else is familiar with it?

There's about a 30 second eye test that will give a pretty good idea. If you are agreeable and working with the hypnotist instead of fighting, you get better results.
If I remember correctly, the eye test is following an object which has you looking up and then closing your eyelids over your eyes -- kinda rolling your eyes to the back of your head.

That test (which measures the eyeball's range of motion) indicates susceptibility, but anyone can be hypnotized if willing. Hypnosis is just a deep state of relaxed concentration which we all enter into many times a day. Realistically speaking, all hypnosis is self-hypnosis, but some tasks are easier with a facilitator (for one thing, in the case of weight loss and smoking cessation, there's someone to blame besides yourself when you stop using the tools and don't accomplish your goal. lol.). Especially past-life regression. I would only recommend doing regression solo if a person is VERY grounded emotionally and isn't trying to release trauma. It can be a very emotional experience.
Hypnosis is totally safe, can't make you do anything you wouldn't do when not under hypnosis, and is a great tool for change.

Oh man... I'd forgotten about that. I don't even remember what the question was. Scalar waves and healing I suppose - and the notion of the existence of scalar waves has apparently triggered all kinds of speculation of their potential by all kinds of people. I think scalar waves have great potential for healing - like magnetic resonance and other types of resonance and the way they (reportedly) heal the body is essentially the same. I think all matter (and non-matter) is really energy that vibrates at different frequencies. Scalar waves provide a different dimension to this. It's like the difference between looking at a representation of a wave form on a piece of paper - 2 dimensionally vs looking at concentric waves in a bucket of water - 3 dimensionally. Scalar waves introduce a fourth dimensional property. I also think there is a lot of hype about scalar waves - just as there is with magnetism and other healing potentials.

Something I don't think we've touched on here is communicating with those who have passed. I just want to share this because of the timing...and I know I can talk safely about this here.
A little over a year after my mom passed, I had a psychic reading done by David (now my pastor...yeah a psychic pastor....pretty cool I think). The desire to make any sort of contact with my mom was overwhelming. He was very accurate and I have a tape of the session as well.
During the reading he said, "you know that thump you hear at night....it happens sometime between 10 and 2....sort of like it almost sound like it's in the wall.....that's your mom doing that."
I had heard these strange "thumps" but just brushed it off as "just another sound". Then I started to pay attention (after the reading) and there isn't anything....creaking in the walls or whatever, that I've heard that sounds like that "thump". I haven't heard it for a long, long time (many months, if not a year)
This year, my birthday and Mother's Day are back-to-back and it's been a bit rough for me (last year I was fine). I'm feeling extra sensitive and little things "trigger" a flood of tears.
I was up very late last night (almost 3am!).....didn't want to go to bed...too much on my mind (so I keep busy to keep from "dealing with it".....I know, not a good.idea).
As I'm lying there, I hear (very distinctly) the "thump"...and it was quite loud, and it brought a smile to my face because I know it's Mom...and I wished her a "Happy Mother's Day". It's great she can remind me from time to time, that yes, she's still here with me.
I really don't intend to pull away from any other discussion by sharing this. I just know I can't tell just anyone about this, and it does relate to this forum (in a way), so I wanted to share.

I don't know about anyone else, Sweet_gal, but I think remembering those who have passed, and communicating with them--especially Mothers, on Mother's Day-- is quite a valid topic for this thread. I envy you your closeness to your mom......heck, chastise me for this if you will, but when my mom passes we might actually get along for a change.....I keep hoping that she will 'see' and understand what I try to teach her....but she is most resistant to love and positivity. Maybe I am just not the one who is supposed to teach her.....then again, maybe I just haven't found the key......

Empath, giving love in return for negativity is the best way to teach. It enriches you both, whether your mother acknowledges it or not.

Thank you for the warm support, everyone...... for some reason it was a tough week for me spiritually, and you guys helped pull me through.....I am beginning to really appreciate this forum thread, not just enjoy it......

Hey everyone, got caught up with things on my end...
I have a VERY close friend who is now in crisis...
Hope those who read will send her some healing energy...
The health crisis happened because she wanted to
lose weight and had gastric bypass surgery...lost
about 120 pounds, but 3 years later (currently)
was rushed to the hospital with severe delayed
complications..Seems her intestines progressed into
a knot causing a blockage...I walked into the ICU
on "Mother's Day" and went into shock. She is not
on oxygen support, and other life support systems
in an medically induced coma...She is only 41!
I don't mean to change direction of this thread
but I know everyone is so caring...and I thought
I'd reach out here for...Healing energy
for my childhood friend Shirley. It would be greatly
appreciated....
And yes, Sweet Gal I can greatly relate to your story
about the "Thump" and your mom. For the longest time
after my sister died. My alarm clock (which has a special
feature to produce various nature sounds) would get a
great surge of energy out of nowhere in the middle of the
night. I found out later that her widowed husband would
get surges of noise from the "Turned off"Computer in his
bedroom as well. After visiting a medium, she also
mentioned without any information of the electrical surges
and how they are related to my sister's presence.
The medium also related another strange thing that no one
knew at the time. As an almost daily ritual, I created
a special table that held a waterfall, a scented candle and
a favorite photo of my sister on a beautful rosewood, carved
table I kept in a hallway near the front door in my home.
The medium identified that table, and described it exactly
and said that my sister actually stands near me and becomes
frustrated that I "Don't see her". I do know there is a breeze there
sometimes when all windows are closed.
I think, if we are open to the signals from our loved ones...
we will see them...
Also, Empath about my Kirlian photo, I'll sent another copy
as the one I sent had the ID photo attached to it all...
