I don't mean to change direction of this thread but I know everyone is so caring...and I thought I'd reach out here for...Healing energy for my childhood friend Shirley. It would be greatly appreciated....
Meadowlark - I don't think you're really changing direction of the thread. What we discuss is all interconnected anyways. I am really sorry to hear about the delayed complications your friend is experiencing. I will set some quiet time aside this evening and send healing energy to her.
On another note, in addition to the "thump" I hear, I noticed when I walk in the door, sometimes my Caller ID would flash for maybe 1/2 a second....to the point I'm not sure if I was seeing things or not. That, I found out during a 2nd reading, is my mom as well. Apparently, she thinks it's funny.

Meadowlark, I am so sorry if I seemed to ignore your request.......I saw it, noted it, but forgot to respond.....seems my RAM was full.......I will take some time tonight as well....
As for changing the topic of the thread......no, Honey, that is the whole purpose of this thread......to connect with and be there for each other!!!

oxygen and life support..now just waiting it out...

I will send more energy in the hours and days to come. I pray your friend will receive comfort soon and begin to heal.

I think it's a bit of a "pay back". For the time period that I had Caller ID, I'd check it every time the phone rang. There were many times I just didn't have the energy to talk to my mom. I was drained from work, or stressed, and she would talk, and talk, and talk. I know she now knows I did this.....avoided talking to her. Now I wish I hadn't have been so selfish.  But I also know that she understands, and despite my shortcomings, still loves me (as I do her).
So the Caller ID remains on the wall. I don't have the service (needed to cut expenses), yet I keep batteries in it, so I can "hear" from Mom.
I will also send healing energy to you, my friend, to help lessen the heaviness you feel in your heart and fill it with light.

Twenty one today!!!! (Thanks, Sweet_gal, I don't usually have animations on, so it looked more "bad", than 'suggestive')

How do you turn on the "animations" Empath?
all depends what operating system you use......for Windows 98......
click on Tools, then Internet Options, then Advanced.....scroll down til you see 'play animations in web pages', click to put a checkmark in the box, click okay........and the next time the screen is refreshed they will play.......
You haven't seen these things move either??? Boy are you in for a treat.......I laughed my fool head off the first time I saw them........

Glad someone in the Homeopathic area is joining us!
I have a nurse friend from NJ, who also studied Homeopathy
and every remedy she forks over my way, makes a big
difference.....I know the underlying workings has to do
with giving the body a verrrry small dose of whatever is
bothering a person...so the immune system kicks in, fights
back and builds up resistance and antibodies....Am I correct????

I am not trying to answer your question, Meadowlark, as I am in no way qualified....but after reading it, I have my own to add.......how does it work that the body builds up a resistance to a 'small' dose, when there are already 'larger' amounts kicking around in the body? I can see that working if it is not already present in the body...but when already 'under attack', what good would a 'small' dose do?
Just trying to understand....

Good News though, recovery signs for my friend
are unfolding as I write this...
THANK YOU for all the healing prayers!!!
Shirley is out of her coma, finally. She wanted the
oxygen and feeding tube removed early this morning.
She is v e r y wilful, even when very sick.. But is breathing with
an oxygen mask on. Nevertheless, still hooked up to many
lifesaving monitors, heart, blood pressure, oxygen monitors..
the works... I basically spent the day in New Jersey.
Drove 2 1/2 hours out there and teamed up with another
childhood friend and posted our "Wild Girl Days" photos (we had many, laugh!)
everywhere around her ICU room (to get her motivated on recovery).
There were a few tearful moments when first speaking with her
as the prior diagnosis was only 50/50 chance on survival.
At the end of the day's visit, the doctor came in and gave a stern speech
to her about remaining at least 2 hours in a sit up position and not to pull
her oxygen mask off, ever...(she did take it off alot with us there, we kept trying to
put it back on). The Drs. said she'll go 20 steps backwards and back into a medically induced coma if she doesn't follow the "receipe rules" towards
her recovery. I think long periods lying in a flat position in the hospital causes fluids in the lungs and pneumonia (which she had) and many other complications.
Anyway, we left there after 7 hours and felt she is finally on her way back to
recovery...phew!!!
So again, thanks for all the prayers...It's been a long day...

So very glad to hear that Shirley's doing better. I thought I felt a positive shift when doing my distance healing last night. Will keep her on the list a while longer. I'm sure the love you shared with her today will add to her energy reserves.
