Sort of sounds like the Motel 6 slogan.
Thanks Beach. I was soooooo sure I had met "the one", but long story short, it doesn't appear to be the case.  Maybe he'll come to his senses, but I'm tired of holding my breath (and having Klingon face). Time to move on (sheesh, I don't wanna!).
*sigh* Well, if it's meant to be, things will happen when they're supposed to happen...not when I think they should happen. Boy is that a hard lesson.
So it looks like I'm back on the market again....time to update the profile too.
I'll try to jump in a little more often. Just feeling down in the dumps because of how things turned out with "him"....moreso than before.

Ok, got my birds crossed. 
Was meaning to say MEADOWLARK in my last post, but wrote Skylark - maybe thinking about the jazz tune.
What would be the difference between a Meadowlark and a Skylark?
And isn't a Nightingale just a Mockingbird working the night shift? 
Guess I was jsut too busy playing with my energy ball.

Sweets Susie is right this is exactly the time to jump back in and welcome home....... 
SS you have a wonderful sense of humor......I never thought a mockingbird working the night shift was a nightingale. Some things you just have to keep coming back to find out.

We are always, always
Right where we are supposed to be in this very moment...
Every, life situation, every gain, every loss, person you
have met in the past, present....and where you are evolving
in the future....
Sometimes things don't work out the way we wish it to.
But the universal light knows us best. We may at times
resist and try like hell to "Swim against the tides to have
it the way we think it should be"....But the hardest part
is letting go, and letting God, Goddess, the Universal Conciousness
however you percieve our ever present, eternal well spring
that is constantly sending us in the direction we must go...
I know, that in my life I've gone down many a disappointing
"Dead End" in my relationships...but in the end, looking back
it was all for the best...
Keep positive intentions, and good thoughts, that will
lead you forward in the right direction....
And hey everyone...
My father's 80th birthday just passed!
Drum rollllll....on 6/6/06....
and NO! he is not the devil!....Smile
He's the sweetest,kindess man around...
I had a good laugh when the local newspapers here
listed the day as "The Devil's Birthday"...
Hah!!!! They don't know my dad...such a pushover...
Anyway, imagine giving birth to a child on 6/6/06???
I'm sure women were delaying delivery on Tuesday
and not naming their kid "Damian"....Smile!!!
Laugh....

I see you tried to rename me by mistake...
But I like Skylark too...
My favorite bird call is an evening bird:
The Whipporwill
There are alot of them here in Connecticut
and they are so tranquil and peaceful to hear
as the sun sets in the evening through the
tree branches....
And...I think Empath is now on the
Westcoast on vacation, missing in action
having a good ol' time...Enjoy Empath! ;}
Hope you check in on your vacation, but
Don Juan may be keeping you verrry busy...smile

..still here....reading the posts but haven't had much time to post myself. I've been super busy at work and tired just beat when I get home.
Yes, Empath should be spending a wonderful time with her sweetie .
Meadowlark, I ordered and received the book you recommended (The Smart Spot), but have yet to start reading it. I've read the feng shui book and have to say it was very, very good and informative.

Ha Ha....Empath is indeed on vacation, at Red69Sun's place, and having a hoot of a time being shown around Seattle!!
Don has not arrived yet, but is scheduled to show up at some point today.

Thank you, my friends! Just a quickie update, and a plea for help....
Don has arrived and is every bit as wonderful as I imagined he would be...hope he feels the same way! It's like coming home after a very long journey....
Anyway...the real reason I am on the computer when I have such great company is that Red's son's girlfriend Amanda Sue has very recently had a spinal tap done, and has just gone back into the emergency room tonight. I am not sure if that is enough to go on, but I am sincerely wishing that someone hears this plea and sends healing energy her way. She needs it for so many reasons, but this one is imperative.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart...
