I like geminis! My ex is a gemini and I know about the dual personality, so was just hoping that Empath's ying and his yang might hit the right personality at the right time.
And as a Libra, I understand geminis....maybe, lol

Everything is significant... even if we don't notice or understand the meaning.

Finally a topic I can comment on!!! Yee haw!
Usually Geminis get a pretty bad rap in all the zodiac literature. We are depicted as shallow, fickle, and flighty. So unfair.
Maybe I am just not your typical gem, but my feelings run deep, and just because I change my mind because the facts change, doesn't mean I am fickle-just quick, and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
Ha! Would that you all could be as confused as I get myself!!!

I've had no problems understand geminis because they are probabably their traits are probably very much like a Libra's which I am. But get the two together and try to make a decision...oy vey! lol I would weigh it back and forth a gazillion times, he would see both sides....at least we agreed that we loved each other and that was enough at the time. I've never seen a Gem as flighty or shallow, but definetly could tell there were two personalities.

If you search in your heart, and forget for an instant about the God you choose to fear, you will see that God is ONLY about LOVE. And so was Christ. When you seek the true message of Christ, as all Christians should seek, you will see that LOVE and only LOVE is the message.
Pete, I couldn't have said it better.
In the end there will be only one religion.
And whose beliefs will reign? If everyone truly believes in his chosen faith, then which is the real one?
Love will be the only religion.

Yes . Until we learn that lesson, we will always be divided by fear.

Who here is bashing God - except you SOC, for suggesting God is mean and nasty and has a bad temper - like the Bible says He is? It seems to me people who don't see God for the loving spirit He is, who insist He is judgmental and even petty are the ones who are bashing God.

To Empath and the rest of you “Mutable Signs” out there including Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces:
How's about this to ponder about..........
If your Sun Sign is Mutable, you were born to earn your daily bread by being a COMMUNICATOR of thought and action. You’ll never be happy when you’re forced to be responsible for the chaos around you, when you’re expected to sit behind a desk, or remain in any one place and take charge. You’d be miserable “leading the parade” like the Cardinal Signs or “watching the store” like the Fixed Signs. You need to constantly circulate, travel, move around, and communicate ideas (and ideals) between the Cardinal Leaders and the Fixed Organizers. You’d be equally happy being self-employed, assuming that your self-employment allowed you to communicate to the public some new and different viewpoint of standard ideas, preferably either abstract or inspiring. To work with love you must have complete freedom, a variety of activity, periodic change, lots of coffee breaks, long lunch hours, and interesting assignments. Working at a job that ties you down in any way, forces you to take complete charge and be responsible for the actions of others could result in physical fatigue, mental stress, and emotional depression, which could lead to chronic illness.

Pete, you mentioned that you have done Reiki, I am still learning about it. I have had it done, I remember feeling certain parts of my back pulsate when it was being done, do you know about this and what that could have been? I've heard it's the energy being released? not totally sure. I asked the lady who did the Reiki if she ever feels drained afterwards she said no because the energy did not come from her, so it's ongoing, what do you think about this? or anyone?

Luna,
First of all I do not sell my services I help out myself and friends and anyone that asks for energy, a disclaimor of sorts not a realllll professional. But Reiki Master nonetheless.
I haven't heard of energy being released thru your back in the way you have described.
As far as the Reiki being tiring.....the answer is that it is not tiring is because Reiki energy, comes in thru your left side and exits the right. Just like normal energy.
Reiki is called NO REBOUND. Some forms of massage that get rid of a headache, for example, the practitioner sometimes gets the headache. Reiki is no rebound or no bouncing back. Reiki, is a Reiki treatment for the pracitioner as well, because the energy is moving inside the Practitioner's body at the same time you as the recipient is getting it, therefore not tiring you.
Hope that explains it, however it is hard to explain.
A good book is Essential Reki by Diane Stein.

I was under the impression that energy moves in a clockwise direction through our bodies. If Reiki energy comes in from the left side, what then is its path?
And how does one find a local Reiki Master to train from? Besides an internet search!! lol
There is a gentleman on this site, who is fairly local to me, who has offered to teach I and II, but does not teach Reiki at the Master level.
Poor God, now He is being bashed for giving us Free Will.
I have to agree with Pete on this still; only by saying He is anything but the most basic and true definition of love, could we 'bash' Him.
And yes, we were given the 'gift' of free will, but was this 'gift' a blessing or a curse? Personally, I'm not sure I like it. I am certain I would have been much happier throughout my life, had I not had the opportunity to make so many blessed mistakes!!

Thanks for clarifying that up BeachNutRu, she did claim that the energy ran though her and therefore she never gets tired or drained, it was the first time I tried Reiki, but I prefer the massages, they seem to help out a great deal in many aspects. Would love to learn some massage therapy.

Just curious, guys, but is it my imagination that we 'lost' two pages between yesterday and today? And where did SOC's posts get to?
Can anyone here send energy long distance? My daughter has a high fever and a tight chest, and I really don't like using the standard doctoral remedy: antibiotics. I tried to focus on her chest last night, but I think I am too tired, or too worried. I did manage to help her breathing become a little calmer though, so her heart doesn't have to work quite so hard.
