Years ago,a bit excited yet because I had just passed my flight exam I inadvertently hit the backside of a car in front of me at a stop sign.It was uphill and I couldnt see it from my truck.(thats my excuse) The lady pulled over and so did I,she got out of her car and gave me a Jehovah Witnesses pamphlet, told me I was forgiven, got back into her damaged car and drove off.
What is the most remarkable real-life example of forgiveness you can recall?

perhaps instead of testimonials we could instead dwell on the points that teacher emphasized concerning forgivness? after all, logic implies the "forum rooms" are basically for debate as opposed to chat rooms?

In spending time in the Christ-like thread this word came to me. It might be helpful to being able to return to loving each of you as I love myself.
I will forgive all anyone has done incorrectly and I will forgive all that has not been done correctly.
With this I arrive in tomorrow with all of you innocent.
Note: Correctly come only from my blurry viewpoint.

Jankia's thread could be part of an epic cycle, yet very useful for arriving safely in tomorrow without being rear ended by emotional hangovers.

have i not been patient as my teacher has been patient? the simians choose to languish in their pit. but true christians seek the word. my teacher said the burden is upon you. have you rebuked your brother? if not, you are simply a simian clinging to your tree. rebuke thine brother! for it is possible that she does not know of her sin. the burden is yours, rebuke. my teacher laughs at your whining. and my teacher will not know you. for you deny the truth. selah

Okay, maybe we are going down a rabbit trail. So I will help it along. It is written to forgive 70 times seven. Does this mean that the original asking for forgiveness covers all future sins and pains as well.
I once had a man tell me that even though he had repeated a act that caused me much pain and I had forgiven him the first time, he told me I didn't need to forgive him the second time and that he was free of requiring to ask for forgiveness again. Or even the third time. and so on and so on.
So even if one uses the non bible belief system, does any one other then me think this guy is on crack.

Mr M, there are several aspects of the point of debate that are being avoided. Is he your brother? has he repented? and so forth. does he do the will of God? God is vaguely specific about the word. vague because most people do not study the actual word but rely on others for chaff. specific because you cannot twist the words and make them out to be something else. Jesus said "if thy brother trepass against thee, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him." those words aren't at all confusing to me.

Jerry,,,yes I do agree that we(sometimes)need to give feedback to people I learn from 'feedback' when It's given WITH LOVE
the word 'rebuke' is a term best delivered within the context of the NEW COMMANDMENT where Jesus referred to LOVING OTHERS The LOVE CHAPTER ,,,1st Corinthian's 13,,, is the 'detailed list' of what 'lOVE',,,,, TRULY is
'Ranting' is not the 'rebuking' that Jesus referred to according to the context of 1st Corinthians 13
It's sooo simple It's not so much that we want to state our 'beliefs',,, It is,,,,,,HOW,,,,WE STATE 'OUR' BELIEFS

Skills of forgiveness are very difficult to have without much practice. A good place to start with would be my brothers...yup that gets every one of you in my group to practice on. If I remember the love God and others as me didn't have qualifiers on it, so you are in my group...

I would have done the same Godless,it is a sad thought to think that youve never seen any form of outright forgiveness though. Is it stupidity to forgive someone that apologizes for something done wrong to a person? Havent you ever accepted an honest apology?

Not forgiving someone only hurts ourselves, they could generally care less whether we forgive them or not. It is a good way to get high blood pressure, emotional problems, or a heart attack.
