I went to vote early today (in florida we can do that ) 
My daughter had some research to do so we went to the library..so i thought ..let me get this over and done with . it was 1215 pm ...the door was locked !! turns out the polls closed at 1200 pm today ...but I did not here about the voting ending at 12 ...
I am disenfranchized and have cotacted the DNC,RNC,ACLU ,ACORN,NAACP ,NCAA,,WWE , and UCLA ..i am getting the court battles started early

In North Carolina early voting began on October 19. Polls closed at 5:00 today.
I voted last Thursday. I work about a block from the State Board of Elections and walked over during my lunch hour. Luckily there weren't many voters ahead of me when I arrived, but by the time I had cast my ballot there was a bit of a line forming.
I like having the option of voting early and avoiding the long lines on election day.
Also any North Carolina citizen can vote by mail with an absentee ballot with no excuse required. You just apply for your ballot with your county board of elections. In order to be counted the ballot has to arrive at the board of elections office by 5:00 p.m. on the day prior to the election.

I don't have to worry about a line much. Voting is kind of a chance for all us "townsfolk" to get together and gossip.

Me neither Sponge,its just down at the town hall which is an old church in the one horse town of Milford.Folks go down and vote then walk across the street to my brothers bar for a cold one.Everyones known on a first name basis.

 They sure are,I should be headin down river to it.A band there tonight that plays contemporary country, southern rock, classic country and old time rock n’ roll.

Musta been the fault of the Winter Park library. I voted at the downtown Orlando library yesterday at about 1 or 1:30. You should be able to vote until 5 pm today. Then on Election Day, of course. Check your polling place for Election Day, mine changed AGAIN this time. I don't think I've voted in the same place twice. You don't need your voter registration card but you do need your state issued photo ID.
