If you haven't heard about the SPP/NAU(Security and Prosperity Partnership/North American Union) plans, maybe its time to educate yourself about it. Even if you already know, I think this is worth a look. Don't dismiss all this too quickly. I know its hard to believe, I have a hard time believing some of it too and am not sure what to think yet, but the evidence(on other sites also)about SPP/NAU, its hard to ignore or dismiss, especially when those in congress and CNN talk about it. Some of those in congress that are speaking out about it are, Ron Paul(wonder what Motown would say about this since he seems to like this guy as do I), Tom Tancredo, Virgil Goode, Walter Jones and Karen Johnson. One of the biggest complaints is Bush and the leaders in Mexico and Canada are doing this in a secretive way without talking about it openly with the senate and the house or the press and other government officials in canada and Mexico. It isn't just Bush's idea though, I read that this goes back to his father's beliefs and beliefs of present and past members of the council on foreign relations, democrats and republicans alike, their goal of eventually having one world government. Things start to get murkier and more conspiratorial here but its still hard to dismiss all of it. I read that one of the Rockefellers who was a member of the council on foreign relations was quoted as saying one world government was a goal we should aim for, with a link to his words included in one of the below links. The EU was a step in the direction of consolidating governments of the world. I'd read that Bush(with the help of democrats)already has the Patriot Act in place which allows him to take an American off the street, not ever charge him/her with a crime and make that person disappear without access to a lawyer for an unlimited amount of time as a "terrorist". So if anyone gets too upset about this(or anything else the government is doing), they could simply disappear in the middle of the night or be taken away at any time, and their friends and family would have no idea where that person was being held or for how long or on what charge thanks to the patriot act. Also read that we have these new Diebold electronic voting machines in many places and most don't have paper trails and it leaves them open to fraud and manipulation. Without paper trails, elections can be manipulated worse than ever before. Then you think about how little has been done to stop illegal immigration and it makes sense if the goal is a north american union where the border patrol might well be disbanded(or cut way back and given new orders to not stop anyone coming across) and the U.S. borders would be thrown wide open for anyone to enter, effectively making our border meaningless. Below is the link to the article about the possibility of Bush being impeached, and just a few of the many links I found that are out there on SPP/NAU :

And here is a link to legislation introduced which also touches on this subject.

And one more:

I can't help thinking about when some people were so upset with their government, they decided to leave for another country. But if we have one world government someday, people who are so angry at their government that they want to get away from it will have nowhere to go, except out into space perhaps on a spaceship, but then only the very rich like Bill Gates will be able to build a private spacecraft and escape the dominion of the world government. How long they could survive out there is another question I don't have the answer to. Keep in mind, I am not saying all this is 100% true or undeniable, I am just saying its worth a look and making up your own mind about it, and being informed as more info about SPP/NAU comes to light in the future.

Which Republican senator? Tancredo, Paul, Goode and Jones are all Congressmen and Karen Johnson is a state legislator. Please clarify.

You must be joking the joint congress cannot impeach Bush for this as the same Congress authorized him to do it!!!! Congress has for some time now given the president powers under the Constitution which were assigned to Congress. The President is authorized to make trade agreements, it is the duty of congress to make them legal or override them. Nafta was, Cafta was not and their are other trade agreements in the works biased against Americans Congress should veto.

Eastham,
in the first link it says that Karen Johnson is a republican senator from Arizona. At this other link it says right on the page Senator Karen S. Johnson, Legislative district 18, so thats why I called her a senator. She is also chairman of the family services committee.

Oh, I see. Thanks. I guess given the title of the thread, I thought it was a sitting senator in Washington not at the state level.

Yes, this plan is for real.
As SpongeBob said, a lot of democrats are in on it too. Not all of them though. If you check out Dennis Kucinich you will see that he has fought them all the way on this and other issues.
I didn't bring this up myself because there are so many things happening people just think I am bashing Bush, because I don't like him, rather than looking at the issue. I am glad someone else brought it out in the open.
It is simply anothe step on The New World Order (Globalization). By the time enough Americans realize what is going on, it will be too late. Our country will basically be pretty much gone, as we have always known it.
Here is an article by a conservative paper.

Always,
I checked out that video. It was about a democrat wanting to impeach Bush over the war. At the end of it, they said Nancy Pelosi didn't support that idea(guess she'd rather work with Bush than Cheney).
This thread was about a republican saying Bush may need to be impeached over something entirely different.

...Sounds about like the former Trilateral commission; now the Foreign Relations Committee, where most everyone (both parties) is in it about neck deep. Bush senior ran his ticket as not being a member of, but 2 months after being in office, quietly took his oath.
...One world ruling power for all, is not likely to ever evolve... everyone that high up, self functions with ego and greed. Nevertheless, immigration, trade agreements, etc., seem to function to lower the standard of living in the U.S. to compare with the rest of the world.
...Every once in awhile, I will mention that there is really not much difference between the two dominant parties... they just want you to think there is.
...In the past several years, you see the conservatives voting liberal and the liberals voting conservative, with little consistency. There will be a couple of "hot" topics, such as abortion, gay marriages, gun rights, etc. to keep everyone choosing a side that does not matter.
...Regardless, there will be no impeachment. Before that happens, Bush would resign and Cheney will pardon him of all wrong doing... remember Nixon.
...Someone said that nothing happens by accident in government and if you are not a skeptic, you will miss most of what has and is happening.

Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America
Myth: The SPP is a movement to merge the United States, Mexico, and Canada into a North American Union and establish a common currency.
Fact: The cooperative efforts under the SPP, which can be found in {email address removed}.gov, seek to make the United States, Canada and Mexico open to legitimate trade and closed to terrorism and crime. It does not change our courts or legislative processes and respects the sovereignty of the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The SPP in no way, shape or form considers the creation of a European Union-like structure or a common currency. The SPP does not attempt to modify our sovereignty or currency or change the American system of government designed by our Founding Fathers. I do believe the trade portion of this is called NAFTA. Canada gets 80% of it's goods from the States and the US gets something like 20% from Canada. That's one hell of a lot of trucks crossing the border in trade. Considering that Canada and Mexico are both democratic governments sharing the same ideals and goals is it not sensical to try and optimize trade or is it better to lower the trade ratios so that the US trades more with Belgium and China instead?
North American Union to Replace USA?
President Bush intends to abrogate U.S. sovereignty to the North American Union, a new economic and political entity which the President is quietly forming, much as the European Union has formed.
Wow. Where did this guy get that from? Europe has had this in effect for decades and each country takes care of their own stuff. Security at the US border is far more stringent than at Canada's simply because the US doesn't feel that Canada's security is 'up to snuff' and won't lower their guard until it is.
Someone said that nothing happens by accident in government
And, often, it is not by grand design but rather spur of the moment. A person in government will seek to set laws and policies that control things rather than seek to give up that control. It is an undeniable fact of life. Very seldom is a law taken off the books rather, new laws are made to help control.
Say you are a prospective politician, you campaign on a platform of "no change, everything is just great the way it is.' Think you will get elected? Not a chance. You have to push for change, if there is not an issue requiring attention, you make one. Say, lowering the legal alcohol limit for drivers to .05 from .08. Or, setting up more traffic control lights in a certain area. You won't see the legal limit raised nor will you see traffic lights being ripped out en masse, rather you will see an ecroachment of control being placed on us all bit by bit.
This works in the larger political world as well. There is no grand scheme to work towards an insect like common control society but it will happen just by the natural osmosis of goverment evolution as each sucessive generation has their kick at the cat. End result - one world government in some, if not all aspects.
We all wish that things would stop changing but, it is in the nature of man to change and, our children will also continue this undying effort to control, setting traffic curbs on every street and by laws telling us what color to paint our garage doors will all seem normal to them. There is a movie out there that is quite phrophetic, a comic depiction of the world in a hundred years called 'Demolition Man' starring Sly Stallone and Wesly Snipes. Take a look at it, whoever wrote the story is a visionary with wit.

Sorry, just had to laugh at the title of this thread alone. If they haven't already impeached him for what he has been doing for a long time, I don't think they EVER will.

Novalite, that was pretty good; especially the second half...
...A bit of a different twist, is that so many politicians go into office with great intentions, only to find out how the good ol boys play the game. You either go along with us, or we will vote against anything and everything for your jurisdiction... and staying in office will not be an option by the voters.

Whatever Bush is doing, he is not doing it alone and either promises will be made and kept, or there would be a snowball effect with any impeachment attempt. As I posted earlier, impeachment will never happen; he would resign and then be pardoned.

In Canada, NDP international trade critic Peter Julian, who has been pushing for the public hearings, wants them to lead to a debate in the House of Commons. "We must have a full and accountable public debate and expose the entire agenda around the SPP," Mr. Julian said. "What is being discussed is nothing less than the future of this country". An all-party House of Commons committee will give the secretive North American Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) its first public airing beginning today.

It's not even news when someone of the other party calls for impeachment. It happens with every president. But this is the second time a REPUBLICAN has called for Bush's impeachment. Nice to see they've got a few guys left with some nuts. Let's just hope Cheney doesn't shoot them off.

Another article concerning the NAU, a bit harsh in its language(a fiery redhead wrote it)and a bit long, but interesting nonetheless.
http://www.newswithviews.com/Devvy/kidd266.htm
This next article has to do with what will happen to our freedom to use vitamins and natural supplements(we may soon be forced to get prescriptions for vitamins and natural supplements instead of being able to buy them on our own like we have been able to for years), possibly even before the formation of the NAU(it has relative info about the NAU and why we should oppose it). An interesting article, with lots of links to related articles.
