Damn I mean it really sucks to be him....I bet is wishing he hadnt done all those bad things right about now...or that he really wishes he could get his hands on the one who sold him out!!!!!!
I just hope that his excutetion will not cause things to get worse for our soldiers!

As I mentioned on an another thread, earlier today I was listening to NPR and they had a panel talking about the various options the regional authority could have used in lieu of the path they did choose. One of the options could have been what was decided in Liberia after Charles Taylor was captured. He was sent to the Hague for trial and they conducted a truth commission like the ones used in South Africa and in nearby Sierra Leone.
I think there will be unrest and violence between Sunnis and Shia and our troops will unfortunately be caught in the middle.

At this point I wish he had committed suicide rather than face capture. The best option would have been to take the leave Iraq in 48 hours option and saved lots of lives.

I really dont see it as any worse than it allready is after he is hung.
BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki on Tuesday gained the backing of leading Sunni and Shiite politicians for his four-point plan "to stop the bloodshed" in the midst of widespread sectarian violence.
Both sides are willing participants in the Ramadan Agreement.
The insurgency started with Hussein loyalists and the Sunni are alarmed at the prospect of Shiite domination. Shiites are fed up with attacks by the Sunni extremists.
The hanging of Sadman would matter little to religious extremists that are willing to sacrifice themselves for their cause.

CNN is reporting that Saddam will be hung by 6:00 am Bagdad time which is 10:00 pm EST/9:00 pm CST so us in the U.S. can go to bed knowing the SOB is slow roasting in hell. 
I agree he's getting his, but I think the ways it was done was a bit...wrong. If the War Crimes Court at the Hague tried, sentenced, and executed, I'd feel better.
I feel that the court that did it instead was a puppet to carry out Jr's dirty work.

If this does happen, then I want to know how the rest of the world would see the United States..... if they mind the invasions of Middle East countries and government coups. If they don't mind petroleum control.
Just wondering what they will do that's all.
If they don't care then there will be peace and happiness I guess?

I think he should be punished....but I am not happy about the hanging.
I feel pity for the man and his soul. I wish they would have just locked him up and thrown away the key!
Will this hanging be videotaped? Broadcast?
If so...that would be very disturbing.

It's entertainment night with popcorn in the homes of certain D.C. politicians (retired ones included too), pay per view charges waived on behalf of the tax payers.
I think he should be given a life sentence rather than a death one, since the U.S. has broken so many Geneva convention laws.

No. I don't agree with the death penalty but I'm not some moral relativist moron. Personally I wish he had taken the opportunity to get out when we gave him the chance. Saddam's brutality is legendary. Sadly far too many weak minded individuals have fallen for moronic propoganda promoted by childish conspiracy websites.

Looks like he will be hung in the next hour.
This feels so rushed. I think it's a big mistake.
This will soften his image. Make him a martyr.
I think Iraq will decend into hell in the coming week. A lot of Sunii's will be pissed, grab more guns, recruit more people and the violence will escalate. I hope the Iraqi goverment is prepared for that....heck I hope our troops are.
Well, the plus side is....it'll all be over....
