It is important that YOU know what you're talking about. For the rest of us it doesn't matter cuz we sure as hell couldn't care less what an ignorant and illiterate kid from Belgium has to say.

Oh wait! I think I just insulted you! I think I did. That's what you get when you call Mr. Bush "stupid" and a "bastard". Once you learn to criticize without name calling, you'll be treated with the same respect.

Providing that you can at all figure out what I just wrote. I'm sure Babelfish will help you.

I'm gonna agree with MP for a change.

Dubya may be a fool, but he's an American first, so I won't cotton to a Belgian kid disrespecting him.

Frankly, I never cared what the rest if the world thought of of politics. No one asked Uncle Sugar for help quashing the IRA.

Now then, if I understand tjoe correctly, which I'm not sure I do, Mk2 is flaming the fires of Western/Mid-East hate? Yes he is.
Worst of all he's doing it with a country that is my father's homeland.

Don't worry about Mk2. He's a lame duck. None of his bills will make it through Congress, so any unilateral action he takes will either hurt or help the GOP Presidential '08 candidate, so he must be cognizant of any ramifications of his actions both domestsic and abroad.

Frankly I think that American Mid-East policy is so FUBARed that neither the Dems or GOP will be able to straighten it out in the next twenty years.

He didn't start a world war, formally, QUITE yet. But his mismanagement and arrogance with our offensive presence in Iraq has led to worldwide hostility where there wasn't any before.

And if I were from that "f-in socialist country", hearing that, I'd encourage my government to withdraw ALL further assistance from the good old US of A...supposedly an ally

Belgium's reaction to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks was strong and supportive. For example, Belgium played a key role in helping to obtain EU-wide agreement on a European arrest warrant and in facilitating extradition of terrorist suspects. In support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Belgium contributed a navy frigate in the Mediterranean, AWAC crews for surveillance flights over the United States, as well as aircraft for humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan. Belgium has contributed ground troops to ISAF since 2002 and provides humanitarian and reconstruction assistance to both Afghanistan and Iraq.

Belgium continues to increase its counter-terrorism capabilities by adding domestic legislative, judicial, intelligence, and law enforcement tools that increase its ability to prevent or respond to terrorism. The government also cooperates closely with other European states and the United States in investigating cases of international terrorism. A Brussels trial of al-Qaida-related defendants ended in September 2003 with sentences for 18 of the 23 accused, with another 2004 terrorist-related trial resulting in 8 more guilty verdicts. In November 2005, Belgium arrested fourteen on terrorism charges. Belgium operates within UN and EU frameworks concerning the freezing of terrorist assets, but has yet to develop a domestic legal framework to act independently.

Sending in MORE US troops? I can see where that could be construed as adding fuel to the fire or fanning the flames ...especially since this particular fire has turned into an uncontained 100mph range fire. -- it's got a LONG way to go before it burns itself out.

The only "retarded" I can see are those that hate the president of the USA so much they havent been able to logically attribute what he has done so far to prevent another world war. North Korea supplies Iran with ballistic missile technology.Iran is waiting to see the outcome of our nuclear talks with North Korea, they are cordial counties to each other.Iran had offered North Korea oil and natural gas in return for help in building nuclear missiles. The free world has offered it to destroy the same. Progress is being made just as it is in Iraq.

Well ROK is a non-issue since the treaty gets rid of ROK's nukes in exchange for oil.
Iran position is simple: don't screw with Iran and Iran won't screw with anyone else.

All Iran wants is nuclear power so that it may sell more of it's crude abroad. Nothing unreasonable about that.

We need 20,000 more soldiers so georgie-porgie doesn't have to feel embarrassed or be responsible for getting us into this mess, and so that he doesn't have to be a man and withdraw the troops. He'll dump that mess in the next presidents lap.

And the ROK are the good guys, Uab.

Honey, you might review your history and check into all the countries the United States has dealt with in the very same way! Til "we" changed our minds and put them on our blacklist

Want to see the photos I took of the arms we delivered to Jordon when we were alledgedly supporting and supplying Israel that year? That was my first wake up call about OUR double-dealing...1968, I believe -- it's only gotten much worse with each American regime. No, it doesn't make me feel proud.

And what the heck good are 20,000/30,000 or 50,000 more American troops going to do? WE caused their civil war (along with all the ugliness) and now WE expect them to unite peacefully?

Get real. The hornets have been released.

Well nobody in the world is evil...maybe stupid...but not bad or good, but you mean South Korea, my bad.

I guess the North is DPRK.

I concur with you, Martin, that Dubya needs the addition troops so he does feel like a loser. Wasn't that Johnson's way of ramping up Vietnam?

Johnson--Vietnam--

Yup, he ramped it up---but in the end he at least was man enough to admit he made a mess of it and refuse to run for a second term, and to apologize.

Georgie isn't man enough to do either.

Within the last hundred years your precious Europe dragged us into TWO world wars...costing us millions of lives. And the first time we ask for support we get nothing but a load of crap. Screw you and Europe. I would love for us to find a link to terrorism in Belgium so we can drop a load of bombs on your ass.

Friggin idiot.

Shit! how come there aren't any emoticons shooting guns?? This is AMERICA damnit!!

Mistakes?

Yeah he made mistakes. They're easy to chronicle. But how do Bush's mistakes compare to the Democrat Party plan to demonize George Bush? What do you think had a greater affect on the situation in the Middle East --- the mistakes Bush made in the pursuit of a better way of life for the citizens of Iraq, or the Democrat's determination to sabotage Bush's efforts?

From where do you think the Islamic fascists have received their most encouragement? From the tactical mistakes made by George Bush, or from the weakness in the American spirit that has been fostered by the whining Democrats?

Even in the face of these depressing approval polls, Bush remains determined to protect this country from Islamic terrorism. Someday perhaps the American people will appreciate him for his determination, however flawed, to protect this nation, and will come to recognize the damage that has been done by the actions of the not-so-loyal opposition, actions that have convinced them that America is becoming weak in the face of the ongoing Islamic jihad.
