Rosie O'Donell has evidently lost her mind. I am pasting a clip of a converstion that Bill O'Riely has posted on FoxNews.
ROSIE O'DONNELL, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": But interesting with the British sailors, there were 15 British sailors and marines who apparently went into Iranian waters. And they were seized by the Iranians. And I have one thing to say. Gulf of Tonkin. Google it
(END VIDEO CLIP)
Well, Ms. O'Donnell and her radical pals are basically telling the world the USA is a criminal nation, and that no matter what provocations are lodged by Iran and others, it will always be America's fault. This is grossly irresponsible and flat out dangerous. But believe me when I tell you that millions of people all over the world are buying this garbage.
A new poll in Germany, for example, asks who's the biggest threat to world peace? The USA or Iran? Forty-eight percent of Germans said the USA. Thirty-one percent said Iran. Incredible.
O'Donnell and actor Charlie Sheen are also peddling the 9/11 conspiracy theory that the attack on the World Trade Center was an inside job. Never mind that nonsense has been debunked by Popular Mechanics magazine by using scientific evidence that is beyond dispute. O'Donnell and Sheen are in it because they hate Bush, not because of any truth seeking.
Today's Investor's Business Daily newspaper labeled Ms. O'Donnell "Tokyo Rosie," editorializing that her anti-America propaganda has reached hysterical levels.
Now Ms. O'Donnell isn't smart enough to realize that while she is demeaning her own country, the one she's hurting most is herself and the company that pays her — ABC.
Americans always turn away from haters, always. And that's what Miss O'Donnell has become.
Summing up, the radical left has to be held accountable because it's distorting the truth, putting America military people in even more jeopardy abroad and even intimidating politicians like John Edwards andBill Richardson.
This is a group that has now burrowed on to the mainstream stage and is doing damage.
And that's "The Memo." If she really thinks that 9/11 was done by our government, then she is really in need of some serious mental help! Why do celebs do on national TV to spout thier beliefs? When do normal everyday citizens get to do the same? If she wants to say something make it meaningful. Dont put your political views out there based on your advantage of having a TV in front of your face.

This nonsense has been out there since not too long after the event.
I like to watch things like the Discovery Channel on TV and there was a whole series on building demolitions. Takes hundreds of charges placed accurately and so forth. I think someone might have noticed this prior to the event.....
My take on the thing is this: rather than a conspiracy, think about this: the buildings were built to contract, and the contractors could have pocketed significant sums by hedging a bit on materials and quality, maybe bribing a few building inspectors. That kind of things is fairly common, and probably not too dangerous in a seismically inactive area like Manhattan. My bet is that the reasons the buildings went down so easily are due to shoddy construction, as stated above.

She also said that "fire cannot melt steel".
She's obviously never visited a foundry.

She's obviously never visited a foundry. A burning building made of glass concrete and steel becomes very much like a blast furnace. I've read that the convection currents in a 20 story elevator shaft can cause updrafts of 150mph or more if just the top few floors are fully engulfed. Pretty effective at creating blast furnace conditions if you ask me.

Let's just assume for the purpose of assuming here for a moment.......That the theory of Ms. O'Donnell was in fact correct being that of a conspiracy.
Who would ever believe it? That's right, no one or a very-very few. In the event that they would, they would be immediately labeled as Wacko's.
Could the government get away with it? Possibly, simply for that reason....No American would ever come forward to admit they would ever believe it....even if they did.
I know I always have and shall continue to keep an open mind per ANYTHING particularly within the Government.
The only thing I know to be 100% true is that I wasn't there, I didn't partake in any of the scientific reconstruction. "Our minds are like windows, closed too tight they may never open again".

Rosie and Martin are actors. Why do we even consider their opinions to have any more gravitas than what's posted here?

I try to consider everyone's opinion... (if only for an instant-even lowly actors) then try to wade through the facts...
some conspiracies are theory... (key members of the US government conspired on September 11th to kill thousands of it's own people "theory")
some conspiracies are fact (19 al-Qaeda members conspired to Hijack aircraft and use them as weapons of mass destruction "fact")
convincing logical arguments on both sides... the deciding factor for me...
to believe this was perpetrated by my own government... is simply to Terrifying for me... (not very logical)

I don't think anybody listens to Rosy..
If they actually do, they deserve her..
I don't watch the show, but I don't really see why Barbara Wawwah doesn't fire her. Maybe because her uncouth ways bring lots of publicity to the show?

Oooooh, I love The Donald even more since he snacked on her for days. That was priceless!
I mean, one look at her is enough. A fat loud obnoxious creature with a perpetually crazed look in her eyes. I'd have no problem smacking her silly.

She has a right to her opinion, just like the rest of us.
It is a rarity that anyone in the media voices an opinion that goes against the government, regarding 9-11. I am surprised they allowed it, even though there is such a thing (or supposed to be) as free speech.
I believe anyone should be able to say what they believe, as long as they don't insult people, call people names etc etc......

Ohh you are so right BJ she is entitled to her oponion! However, when that oponion is dangerous to the American Public and soliders, sailors, Marines and Airman around the world then her right to her Freedom of Speech is no longer valid. Why should she have the ability to voice her political views on a nationaly broadcast TV show when your common everyday citizen does not have that opportunity. Why should she be allowed to use her fame in such a negative way.
She is just down right stupid. I used to think she was funny. Now I just think she is pathetic. No matter wha,t we are Americans. We should never say or do things that would reflect badly on our country. If she wants to change the government then that is what the elections are for. I can not believe that Disney would allow such a person to represent thier company in such a manner. I dont watch the VIEW because I work during the day and I find such shows stupid the start with. I align them with the Jerry Springer show.
