I'm not sure what you're referring to specifically...
one world government?
everyone living Peacefully under one flag,
a World flag?
every one loving and respecting each other as brothers?
I think unity is a nobel cause...
We are already united in many ways,
whether we like it or not...
people just refuse to acknowledge it...
for instance:
we all have the same basic needs,
food, water, health care etc...
we all have basic desires,
Love, security, a good piece of pie...
and we're all part of the same food chain...
Pollution effects everyone...
stuff like that...
and I think there are many people working on it...
the problem seems to me...
the most powerful people working on it
seem to want to accomplish unity by Subjugation...
(I'll convert every to my form of Government/Religion...
by force if necessary)...
I just don't see that ever working...
who could ever embrace something forced upon them?
I think the only way to truly unite everyone is through Diplomacy...
you have to be able to embrace people, and Respect them for who they are,
and from time to time, forgive them, even if you don't understand why...
this kind of thing only exists in books...
I believe Humans are incapable of this...
(my only proof, a few thousand years of history)
...[I think War is proof than man dose not Evolve]...
from time to time you'll see something about how life will be in the Future...
FlyingCars, new foods, new energy sources, Housing, new Kitchen appliances...
etc...
and eventually they get around to how wars will be fought...
new weapons, new armor, new vehicles, new technology...
never once have I seen anyone predict a worldwide Peace Pandemic,
where People will refuse to hate, or kill one another...
I think one reason...
it would be a Financial Disaster on a global scale...
War is a HUGE worldwide industry, HUGE...
abolishing it would be devastating...
but this post is already to long, so I wont go into the "Cost of Peace"

dirversty drives this country and makes us great
if ya mean comeing together for a common cause such as child abuse ..autism awareness , battling cancer,ect ...i say hell yes

The Goodman is correct in his statements concerning war.
Unity will never exist by mankind.
The genetics of the evil continues to be passed on and multiplied by each generation. In theory, on an individual basis, it may possibly be accomplished.
In reality, it would take a massive worldwide extermination of all remnants of gene dysfunction. The result: more mutations to start the process all over again.
Evil will always exist. All most leaders can do is work toward peace: an ongoing process since some will always want others to be like them.
Work on unity? You will succeed the majority of time- but you will also fail a few times. But a noble quest it is.

I think we in this country need to unite for common goals.
Then we need to move it outward, for the same reason.
Remember - UNITED WE STAND - DIVIDED WE FALL?

without Judging them...
or them Judging you for not wanting to do those things...

Personally I think we're far more peaceful as a race than we were say 4000 years ago. In those days we would gather 100,000 men and walk 1000 miles to get at an enemy for no more reason than the fact that they were there to be conquered,
Today we're more effective at killing but far more reluctant to do it

There will have to be some way to govern the world in order to have peace.
Right now all that is happening is greed and power.
Someone that wants to take over a country for their own gain,
at least that’s the way I see it.

I can see people running over those that have very little,
Saying that they are not working hard enough, or they say: they don’t deserve any better.
My health care is fair, but not great.
I went to the eye doctor the other day and they said I have cataracts forming.
They plan to do “Nothing”
As far as the Doctors are concerned if you’re insurance is not good enough,
They don’t give a damn.
We must also work on equality of men and women. We are all equal in the family.
Women are the first teachers of the children.
Women should have the right to make decisions as well as men.

We need to start looking at the faces of the children and know things much change.

Yet we let Greed, anger, ego, and power rule us. All we think of is our own needs and to hell with the others. Very sad in my way of thinking.
