I heard that Kucinich sent out a "Dear Colleague" concerning Cheney, which didn't say what charges would be raised. Will probably go nowhere, but it will be yet another fire for GWB and Cheney to put out.

Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution gives Congress the authority to impeach the president, vice president and "all civil Officers of the United States" for "treason, bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."
Ok, so tell me exactly what crimes did he do??

I doubt the democrats, liberal or otherwise, want him out. The longer he's in, the more his asinine antics further their chances of electing someone in 08.

not so fast....Cheney could still be thinking about running for the oval office...after all..he does know where the " bodies" are buried..is a straight shooter and lives in texas...does not that qualify him for a discussion?

Maybe you grew up in some way, that causes you not to question anything that is done.
I hope I never do.
I think if Cheney is impeached Bush will be totally lost. I feel certain that Cheney is doing all the work and Bush is doing all the PR.
I knew that Kucinich had asked the people for their input about this.
I think they should be filed on both Bush and Cheney, but I figured it wouldn't be done for either one. I think it would take until the election to get it through, even if it does ever get going (which I doubt).
Many people have been calling for this for several years. Guess Kucinich is going to try to get it done.
Good luck to Dennis, he's going to need it.
