I remember hearing on the news on 9/11 that the remains of the thing had been brought down purposefully because it was precarious and unsafe.

It was said by federal officials that Building 7 collpased due to a fire coming from the inside. I have never heard anywhere about them using explosives on any of the buildings. Matter of fact the 9/11 commission report doesn't even pay no kind of mention to Building 7. Larry Silverstein said on PBS that they decided to "pull" building 7.

If the building was structurally unsound, they brought it down. Would you rather it fell down on its own, preferably while having people working in it?

More Krazy Konspiracy Krap. You K.K.K. guys kill me with this stuff. There is a N.I.S.T. report on WTC7, the building was so weakend by fire and the 15 story slash in the front wall from falling debries from the WTC tower collapse that the FDNY crews were pulled out and the building left to burn and collapse. Of course you aren't going to believe that because it doesn't agree with your K.K.K. theory.

First off...To everyone that wasn't sitting in front of the television on Sept 11th. First the twin towers fell, then later that evening building 7 fell. Now up until this point it was common knowlege that building 7 fell on it's own. Read anything regarding building 7 that's "official" and you will learn that it fell due to "structural damage caused from fire" which by the way no building has ever collapsed due to fire. We all watched it fall on cnn, cnbc, abc, cbs, fox and a wealth of other stations. Nobody has ever said anything about it being a controlled demolition. Why in the middle of all of the madness when they are still looking for survivors and bodies would they demolish another building that was still on fire? Does any of you know how long it takes to set up and execute a controlled demoltion? Read up on it. You don't just go in there and rig up some explosives and viola. That takes weeks, sometimes even months or years to pull off. There was no way a team of demolition experts went into building 7 and in a matter of hours demolish the building. Also, I don't know what toucherin's deal is with the kkk but he needs to quit his bulls*&t.

I'm sorry, but this has got to be the stupidest thing I have ever heard.
What was the reason, do you think, for the towers collapsing? Rat infestation? (before you answer, please mind the fact that I'm an architect and had to take engineering courses until I was blue in the face)
Ever seen fires on the news...? Just ordinary fires? Ever seen roofs caving in, beams falling, columns cracking until the whole thing just falls on itself? Hint: it ain't from the water used to put out the fire.

wait ... heres a few others... LA riots ... buildings burning and COLLAPSING .. yep witnessed those too ... try looking up any major fires ... buildings not only collapse ,they can implode, explode, MELT, all depends on how intense the fire is

It's obvious that John Kerry has absolutely no firsthand knowledge and barely any secondhand knowledge of the technical details of the collapse of those buildings. In short...he’s clueless. To look at this video, hearing this guy say over and over, “I don’t know about that”, and then to take his comment about “a wall” being brought down as gospel on WTC 7 is the height of paranoid disillusionment...willing to grasp and any straw, no matter how unfounded.
“Pull” is also used by the fire department (as well as hundreds of other industries that give connotations to everyday words), which means to remove the firefighters from the battle. The firefighters had noticed that WTC 7 was starting to buckle hours before it actually came down.
WTC 7 was not an ordinary building. It was built over a ConEdison substation and the entire building was being held up by supports that, though not nearly as strong as having pounded support beams into bedrock, were strong enough to hold up the building just fine. Those supports were damaged when the North tower came down on it. Personally, I don’t think it was reasonable to expect the engineers to build the support structure such that it could withstand having the largest building in the world fall on it.
All three building were unique in their construction. As fate would have it, the weaknesses in their unique construction were exploited by the method of attack chosen by the terrorist. That’s all there is to it.
