2nd Republican Debate to Air on FOX May 15th

Seems they are already having Debate II tonight on FOX at 9:00PM EDT. This time coming from Columbia, SC. That's like in just a few minutes. Frankly I had trouble finding out about this one and where it was to appear. 
It will be interesting to follow up on the last one and see what will be different.
FOX being heavily of Republican influence, I wonder how that too will possibly make a difference.
For those who didn't see the last one, hopefully you'll get to this time. 
Opinions welcome after this one is socked away in the archives.
I wonder when Democrats II is to be scheduled?

Well that was certainly interesting!! I tuned into FOX for the debates and got a dose of "House"! Oddly enough no debates were on, in spite of all the announcements.
They did occur, because Foxnews.com has video clips of them.. The only question is "where were they televised, if at all"??
So I wonder if anyone saw them anywhere?  That was all pretty odd.

Well, I saw the debates on fox news, and around 11pm eastern time they had early results on an after debate poll and Ron Paul came in first place ahead of Mitt Romney with 30%.

You saw the entire 90 minutes of it? At 11:00PM EST? That would mean it is still on as we speak.. Or did you just see some kind of summary account of it after the fact?
If so, why would do you suppose they announce it on their web site and other news outlets to be at 9:00 PM EST, when they were showing a weekly drama series? I suspect a lot of people missed it who expected it to be at the time the announcements stated. Not good work on FOX's part..

It started at 9pm and ended at 10pm. Then they had post-debate coverage and around 11pm is when they first announced the poll results.

Final results of fox news poll on who won debate shows Romney coming in first with Paul second. Hunter came in at number 5 ahead of Tancredo and McCain.

It was not on FOX at 9:00PM EDT. "House" a drama series was on FOX at 9:00PM EDT.

WASHINGTON — As the Republican presidential candidates arrive in Columbia, S.C., for a primary debate to be broadcast on FOX News, polls in the First-in-the-South presidential primary state show Arizona Sen. John McCain and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani in a dog fight for first place.
The latest survey by respected Republican pollster Whit Ayers, who is unaligned with any campaign, shows McCain at 25 percent, leading Giuliani by 5 points. The poll has a 4.4 percent margin of error. Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is in fifth place at 8 percent and behind two men — former Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich — who aren't even in the race.

I believe it was MSNBC who said it was to be a 90 Minutes debate, which if it began at 9:00PM EDT that would mean it would end at 10:30PM EDT. But it wasn't on FOX at the time it was scheduled to be, if televised on FOX at all, prior to the review you saw.

The 90-minute debate will air from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. ET and will be moderated by "Special Report" anchor Brit Hume. Questions will be posed by two panelists — "FOX News Sunday" host Chris Wallace and White House correspondent Wendell Goler.

I think you are getting fox news channel mixed up with another fox t.v. station. I was watching fox news channel at 9pm EST and the republican debate was on.

Fox News is some other channel than Fox?
That's the only Fox channel we get here, as far as I know.

Fox cable network and the debate was carried on many Fox radio affiliates along with foxnews.com as well. It was a much better format then the last two.

Okay, well I was looking for it on the regular FOX network.. So I guess that explains it then.. Odd that they'd show it on kind of an off-channel that a lot of people (obviously including me) don't get though.. I have DirecTV and a ton of channels. But that isn't one of them, at least as far as I know. Plus I looked high and low for the debates, did searches and so on, and couldn't find any sign of them..

MM it was on fox news last night, I think you were watching your local fox network affiliate. if you get cnn and cspan on directtv close to those is fox news, I just looked it up for direct tv its on channel 350

Giuliani criticized Ron Paul fairly harshly during the debate, Wolf Blitzer later interviewed Ron Paul and allowed him more time to respond to the criticism.
