Paris Hilton out of Jail..............

It seems the media has a hard time getting their story striaght. The first version I heard was that she had a rash. My thoughts at that time were to give her a couple of Benadryl, some Gold Bond powder, and just in case, some flea powder. I'll bet in a couple of weeks she'll be OK....

Word has it that the judge who sentenced her is summoning her back to court and is talking about tossing her back in the klink...

I can't say this was a surprising development. The judge should toss her scrawny ass back in jail for the original full term. However cliche: commit the crime, do the time.

Personally, I agree, but the reality is that she probably will get away with the slap on the wrist... I have zero faith in the justice system and her 3 day stint is just proof to that effect...

I would hope that the judge will order her back to jail and to serve the original sentence. Should he decide instead to let her serve the time at home it should be with an armed guard outside her bedroom and her to be confined to that room only for the period and the telephone and PC/TV etc removed. She should also be limited to having vistors only at times that would be allowed if she were in jail instead of unlimited as it has been. Don't think she would like that any better than being in jail but it would be to much to hope for that a judge would order it that way. Time will tell I guess and I just heard that we may not get a rulinig today but may have to call in her Dr.'s to testify as to what this "medical" condition is that got her released in the first place. That will be intersting to hear also since IMHO it is all a load of BS.

seriously...with all the real criminals out there who are getting released early...I have no problem with her having house arrest..but I would like to see her fine increased to 100,000 dollars...

but... ...thinking some of you are being pc here..or having "penis envy"?

her crime..driving while intoxicated...and then driving on a suspended license twice more.....thinking here.. that in southern california....every "illegal" does one of those ( driving with no license..and so therefore no insurance) ...just about every day?

and the insult to (taxpayer) injury is that she has to be placed in "special housing" while in jail...

Thinking this judge..is a "person not living in the real world" whereas the sheriff is...

sheriff living in the real worl, not hardly but he probably has a lot more spending money these days that he did last week. Like someone said if she were a 25 year old black male she would not gete this special treatment.

Seems as if I do not have to live with it since Paris is now back in jail and will be spending the rest of her original 45 day sentence there rather than the reduced 23 days that she would have served. Will not surprise me if the sheriff ends up being fined and or jailed for contempt of court since it seems he told a few untruths along the way.

Hopefully this will teach Paris something and she will learn that she cannot do as she pleases and has to pay the price just like everyone else.

How about a new reality tv show....

SHANK THE SKANK

You can have teams of inmates making knives from toothbushes and bed springs, and the first team to shank Paris gets a recording contract.

The sad part of this story is that our corporate media cut away from important news stories, like who will replace Gen. Peter Pace as the Joint Chief, for an update on Paris. Shameful!

Your right eastham. Although, I think people are so tired of the rich and famous getting away with any crime, that this story has been brought forward instead of all the killing, terrorist stuff.

We as individual people, can't do much about all the "big" stuff happening, but we darn well want to see this person do the time!

As much as I would love to agree that this story had more to do with the vengeance of the masses, I must confess that I believe it has more to do with the fact that most people think of Paris Hilton in jail AS NEWS!!!!!!!

I just read on the TVguide site that Paris "medical condition" that got her released was that she wouldn't eat jail food, and was demanding to have her meals catered by some restaurant that she likes.

Eastham, I am shocked! How dare you demand that reporters report news that we should hear rather than so-called news that we want to hear! That would actually cost the networks profits! Surely, you should know by now that nothing is more important to we Americans than making money.

...Guess I must be reading the wrong news, as I missed all the Paris action.

...Catching up, she blew a .08 the first time, the exact legal limit, whereas one drink could have given her that. She plead no contest through her attorney and that was simply stupid. A couple more traffic tickets and later, she was pulled over for a suspended license, etc.

...Yes, I would have to agree that City Attorney Delgadillo and Judge Sauer are grandstanding for publicity. Their popularity must have been a touch low.

...With LA's crime rate, jails filled to the brim and those two clowns put not someone, but a celebrity in for traffic violations is rediculous. If it had been you or I, we would have paid the fine and went on about our business.

if she were a 25 year old black male she would not gete this special treatment.
...If she were a 25 year old black male, she would not even be in there. Just as millions of Illegals are not in jail, for doing much worse. The ACLU would have brought forward about 50,000 judgements, where the "traffic criminal" walked.

...With the back log of prosecuting real criminals, I would personally vote for someone besides Delgadillo or Sauer to get the real job done. This grandstanding is for show and all BS!

...Politics as usual.
