Hillary answers.
1. Originally meant you were for freedom.
2. Willing to stand against big power on behalf of the individual.
3. Meaning has changed to mean the opposite of what it used to mean.
4. Hillary defines herself as a moderate progressive.
5. Progressive, according to Hillary Clinton, has an American meaning going back to the begining of the 20th century. A modern progessive is:
a. Someone who believes strongly in individuals rights and freedoms.
b. We are better as a society when we are working together.
c. We are better off when we find ways to help those who need help
find the tools they need to live a more productive life.

I agree, Big O has stood up and as Master of the Obvious iterated the truth of what I said in a prior post, when the feeding frenzy of attackers had gone out on a tangent and did not duplicate or understand the plain language used in my posts, when he did not have to cross swords with the Claque and could have remained silent. I realize that we may disagree on a few topice, or maybe even many, but I do respect him when he sides with truth even when it is unpopular to do so.
And telling unpopular truth is something that I often do, as a lone voice crying in the wilderness when the great thundering herd of opinion left of center does not like it when a defender from the center or the political right posts an opposing viewpoint.
Thanks for giving "O" the Kudo justly due him whenever such circumstances arise.
