Either way, he is a LIAR. This is just the tip of the iceberg if you ask me.

lj - it is direct hypocrisy - Wright uses the "N" word regularly. He also uses derogatory terms towards whites.

Barak expect us to use tolerance and understand his vile comments and refers to them as "controversial."

Yet when IMUS says HO - not even the "N" word - off with his head!

Barak X is a master slight of hand artist.

Ok we know you think Obama is a hypocrite....got anything else ? You've been at this for over a week now, and you're not saying anything new.

We've all heard it all before.

Whites are being discriminated against because they can't use the "N" word.
It's all so very very wrong. Society it out to get whitey, and let blacks do what ever they want. Oh the humanity, even though whites are in power some how every other race has found a way to undermine the white race....

You know what ? I could have sworn someone somewhere made the point that Wright is no longer Pastor at that Church, or working for Obama.

Now the two of you can continue on with this " the white man has got it bad" routine if you want. But, I got to tell you there's a reason why no else is joining in on your little cry-fest.

It's starting to get really pathetic.

You are right O. Im going to stop crying and do something about it.

I think its time to put blame where it belongs. Its time whitey stopped being so afraid of blacks and their establishments. We need to step up and voice our opinions as communities.

I think I will bring this up at church on Sunday.

O - based on the poll numbers and the hassles that you are getting into all over the threads there are more people than you want to admit that agree with us.

One more is more people than I want to admit would agree with you. But I know there are more than that. That is not an argument for your position being correct. No does the fact that you and those who agree with you are in a distinct (strident) minority argue that your position is incorrect. In fact, whether or not anyone agrees with you or not is really kind of meaningless.

Good point Night.

I have a blog about this subject that I just posted. Myself, I don't think MD is a racist community. I think that the minority that are use such divisive and offensive language that most sensible and rational people just avoid them and the threads or blogs that they are on. This is a dating site after all, and no one in their right mind comes here to spout bigotry, or participate in a debate on it. You know ? I mean most people know not to disagree or they're going to get caught up in a lot of drama. What sort of mind finds comfort in the fact that others agree with them about being divisive, rude and offensive ?

I've been reading over Obama's speech btw, some time if I have time I'm going to start providing excerpts. It's a great speech.

This quote has been posted by several...iam, para and me...."Obama: "Fire Imus"

Obama, The First White House Contender to Call for Imus' Firing Over Racial Slur

"I understand MSNBC has suspended Mr. Imus," Obama told ABC News, "but I would also say that there's nobody on my staff who would still be working for me if they made a comment like that about anybody of any ethnic group. And I would hope that NBC ends up having that same attitude."...."....!

Another proverbial "nail" in the coffin for Obama! How can this guy, as racist as he seems, still consider himself a viable candidate for President?

All the while he was talking about what Don Imus did....he was being "mentored" by a Preacher that is just as bad as any KKK guy!

Again, tonight, Obama and his "mentor" were on CBS News....as the second story! No, it is not going to go away till he drops out of the race or till he is blown out by Hillary beating him!

"onoudn".....Obama has made an "Ass" of himself! Surely, you can not in good conscious defend his racist attitude?

Rush Limbaugh and I both agree that given the seriousness of the Obama Racist/AntiAmerican Pastor Wright "Swiftboat" phenomena, that as much as we view Hillary with misgivings, it is apparent that the Democratic National Convention must now award her with the presidential nomination.

Obama lied straight faced, just like Nixon, about not knowing the content of Pastor Wright's character after twenty years of very close association with that cesspool of hatred.

We have all bandied about Obama's two middle names, Muhammad Hussein. Now we all know it to be:

BARACK MILHOUSE NIXON OBAMA.

Well when you have you head up your own ass I guess it would look that way.
Bringing up IMUS and the KKK and putting yourself in the company of known racist on MD. Don't lecture me on racist attitude. I'm not defending anyone. I"m merely providing a balanced opinion. And frankly the fact that someone as closed minded as you has a problem with it just makes me all the more happy to do it. So bring some more of your racist, closed minded ignorance on. Every time you do it just convinces me what a great man Obama is.

Yeah balanced like this.....sooner or later you think theres going to be a cause and effect connection made.....ya think.nah...too closed minded.
Given my background, my politics, and my professed values and ideals, there will no doubt be those for whom my statements of condemnation are not enough. Why associate myself with Rev. Wright in the first place, they may ask? Why not join another church?

And I confess that if all that I knew of Rev. Wright were the snippets of those sermons that have run in an endless loop on the television and YouTube, or if Trinity United Church of Christ conformed to the caricatures being peddled by some commentators, there is no doubt that I would react in much the same way

But the truth is, that isn't all that I know of the man. The man I met more than 20 years ago is a man who helped introduce me to my Christian faith, a man who spoke to me about our obligations to love one another; to care for the sick and lift up the poor.

He is a man who served his country as a U.S. Marine, who has studied and lectured at some of the finest universities and seminaries in the country, and who for over thirty years led a church that serves the community by doing God's work here on Earth -- by housing the homeless, ministering to the needy, providing day care services and scholarships and prison ministries, and reaching out to those suffering from HIV/AIDS.

In my first book, "Dreams From My Father," I described the experience of my first service at Trinity:

"People began to shout, to rise from their seats and clap and cry out, a forceful wind carrying the reverend's voice up into the rafters....And in that single note -- hope! -- I heard something else; at the foot of that cross, inside the thousands of churches across the city, I imagined the stories of ordinary black people merging with the stories of David and Goliath, Moses and Pharaoh, the Christians in the lion's den, Ezekiel's field of dry bones.

"Those stories -- of survival, and freedom, and hope -- became our story, my story; the blood that had spilled was our blood, the tears our tears; until this black church, on this bright day, seemed once more a vessel carrying the story of a people into future generations and into a larger world.

"Our trials and triumphs became at once unique and universal, black and more than black; in chronicling our journey, the stories and songs gave us a means to reclaim memories that we didn't need to feel shame about...memories that all people might study and cherish -- and with which we could start to rebuild."

I said I would start to post excerpt from Obama's historical speech. Is that balanced enough for ya ?

Obama's Racism speech reminds me of Richard Nixon's "Your President is not a crook" speech.

Apparently, Bill Richardson think Obama can win. He just endorsed him, and called for Senator Clinton to throw in the towel. Tacky tacky tacky..... He looks ok with a beard though.
