The media has her down for the count. Neo-con talking heads are slobbering all over themselves over the potential down fall of the Hillary Rodham Clinton as the next President of the USA. Polls are showing Obama in a slight lead in Iowa, New Hamshire, and North Carolina. CNN has her trailing Obama in Iowa and North Carolina, but leading in the National polls. What does it all mean ? Could it mean curtains for Democrats ?

More likely its business as usual. Iowa loves a under dog. Hillary could lose Iowa, and New Hamshire----possibly New Hampshire, and still pull off a victory for the Democrats. Obama is playing politics. He is inexperienced and could mean a Democratic defeat in the general elections. While the Republicans claim they want Senator Clinton to be the nominee I can't see how they could possibly want that.

Democratic ,on the other hand, can't help but feel a great disturbance in the force. Who knew that Senator Clinton would face here greatest opponent in their very ranks. Strategist sniker over such things as Hillary bringing here mom and daughter out on the campaign trail, and predict this is the beginning of th end.
While the Clinton campaign seems to be imploding, voters lose confindence in Hillary over a host of political blunders. Blunders like criticism of Obama's drugs use, and a dissapointing performance in the Iowa Democratic debate, leave votes questioning whether Hillary has lost her mojo. And just when it looks like it can't get any worse, Oprhah came out of no where---at the worst possible time. If one listened hard enough they could almost here Hillary scream...." that bitch".

Its enough to unsettle even the most die-hard Hillary supporters.

But I wouldn't count her out just yet. I'm not one to jump ship in the middle of the battle. I'm going to still hope for hope sake that people come to their senses, and realize Obama just can't win. He is too inexperienced and the Republicans would eat him alive. Ironically, it is issues like drugs use that the Republicans will exploit, among other things. The benefit of having the Clinton's in the spotlight all these years is that what ever mght be in their closets are now common knowlege.
What new and exciting skeltons does Obama have hanging in his ? And is that a risk we Democrats can afford to take at this critical juncture ?

I just think she's going to pull it off. I have hope in my candidate. She's been through worst than this.

My thought about it is this;

I am not a big Hillary supporter, however she is right in line with all the other democrat candidates about the illegal problem. There is no differences there. They ALL want to give them a form of amnesty and other benefits that we do not want to give them any longer.

People do not understand that they are all alike in this issue, so they really came down hard on Hillary, because of their anger towards illegals. People in this country are sick of them taking our jobs and using our resources.

An even bigger concern for me is not whether Hillary is brought down by the illegal issue, but whether the party is brought down because of it. This is the ONLY issue that the republicans could win on, if they played their cards rights.

food for thought here.....there is big money to be made when the economy is good... deporting all the illegals enmass will cause the economy to take a nose dive..therefore..how will the republican party condone attacking their cash cows??

I really don't care who is President or not. Clinton did a sh!tty betrayel to the USA on the WTO goals (traitor). I'm skeptical about the Clintons on that, plus the bombing of that so called pharmaceutical company in Iraq when he was in office (I believe that there was another motive beyond what was claimed).

Those are the 2 things that give them (the husband and wife team) a thumbs down in my book for not being truthful.

All I want to see the next administration and congress execute is:

National Health Care (immediately)

End to the unfounded war (also a hellavalotuv auditing)

An aggressive initiative to develop and mass distribute alternative fuels for transportation

Tighter regulations on free trade with China and the trade deficit. (I will not fvckin' salute the flag of a corporation).

Talk about a fall from grace!

Only a few short months ago, there was nothing left for Clinton but the coronation!

Now that she can't hide from the media anymore, and people are seeing what a fraud, loser and nasty person she really is she is tumbling like a stone!

I think people are also realizing that we have now had 20 years in a row of Clintons and Bushes in the White House. If Democrats are serious about "bringing change to the job," Clinton isn't it.

The cons have started bashing Obama more. So they obviously see him as the larger threat.

Don't bet on it. If it's over for Clinton, it's over for the Democrats in '08.

She is the only Democrat that has a chance against the Republican lineup.

Obama is unelectable. The only reason he makes a showing in the polls is that Democrats are phony African American lovers. Publicly they say they are crazy about him, privately they will turn their backs on him.

Both Obama and Clinton have ZERO qualifications for the job, of course, but Clinton is the only credible candidate the Democrats have -- for stupid reasons, but she is just the same.

Obama and Clinton are just as electable as an unemployed ex-mayor who gets booed by his own party, a raving madman who wants to bomb Mecca, and a loon who apologizes for his own religiously bigoted comments on a daily basis.

Frankly, the whole election process is designed to weed out qualified, competent, honorable candidates. The amount of mudslinging involved means anyone who plays fair doesn't make it to the primaries, much less the general election.

If Hillary falls on her face in the presidential race, she is oh so vulnerable to keep her seat in the US Senate.

I would add on the review of all of Bush's executive orders and rescinding of those that violate our constitution, and the rule of law.

Hillary Clinton is not finished. It is going to take more than what is going on now to finish her off. The media has already been trying. Very Hard. Almost every cable network is making snide remarks about her. They are not bringing her down so easy!

I am not counting her out.

I have no doubt she has the ability to pull off the Democratic nomination. Its Christmas right now and her campaign is getting its second wind. Stand by for the final leg of the race. Its gonna be history in the making. JMO

Always a possibility that the Republicans manage to get a moderate into the White House, and the Democrats get a bunch of radicals into the Congress...

Four more years for you to think up new ways that the President won't be using to bypass tradition and law.

By the way, you were gone for several hours. Nap time, or did you actually hang out with friends or family?

I don't think so...as of right now more hate her than love her....not by much...and it's still a year away...

And there's damn sure nothing special about the Repub lineup...they are all decidedly cut from the same cookiecutter "I'm more Christian, conservative, and Bush supporting than you are" uninspiring.....and given the disgust with Bush in particular, and neocon Repub stupidity in general out here in the real world, eminently defeatable...
