There is not one Democrat or rethuglican even close to Clinton nationwide. And there are Democrats running against Hillary that are beating the best rethuglican. Obama and Edwards are out doing all the rethuglican candidates! It is a joke this year for any rethuglican!!

O - McCain got every Media endorsement in Iowa and he did not campaign!
He also was against most of the corn fuel subsidies that would have benefited Iowa.
Romney spent 20 times that of Huckie
All told - both parties - will have spent $250 - 300 per voter
They should have just sent them the checks instead of badgering them for a month!
Pretty sick for a State like Iowa. I think that McCain and Rudy were smart for staying away!

Rudy who? It's not too bright for him to stay away from any state right now. The Presidency is a forgotten dream. But if he wants to be the VP nominee, he's going to need some exposure that he seems to be turning down.

kjac point of reference - VP's are not nominated they are chosen. Are you having another "INDIA" moment?
Do you really think that Rudy would be VP to anyone?

Yes VP's are chosen, but only if they are deemed electable by the person doing the choosing. No one would make that mistake with Crudy. So no, I don't think he would be anyone's VP, simply because I don't think anyone would want him.

No problem. BTW, I know how it must pain you knowing his chances are slim to nil. I know you were a huge supporter of his. But hey, he can always be a mayor or a lawyer again.

Actually - When Michael Bloomberg went to Hopkins he went to the same Synagogue as me for the High Holidays - we had dinner together several times. I am hoping he runs and wins. I am going to ask him for a justice dept position

Hopefully he knows more about national and international affairs than Crudy. Otherwise, he's screwed.
Exactly how does a Republican get stupid enough to piss off one of their biggest contributors (NRA) anyway?

kjac point of reference - VP's are not nominated they are chosen. From Cambridge Dictionaries Online:
nominate (CHOOSE) verb [T] to officially choose someone for a job or to do something: She was nominated as the delegation's official interpreter. Kjac's use of the word "nominee" was entirely appropriate. People should learn the nuances of the language before they criticize. (Especially after whining about having their spelling picked at on another thread.)

I just raised a point of reference in a polite way.

I just raised a point of reference in a polite way. And I just pointed out in a less-than-polite way that you were wrong to do so.

Well caucus time is here at last. I'm going to predict big things for Hillary Clinton. I can just feel it in the air. The last time I had this feeling was when Clinton beat Bush Sr. I also predict that its ultimately going to be Hillary and Mc Cain, and that there is going to be a third party candidate. Then, at long last, Hillary Clinton will be the first female President of the United States, and Obama will be the first afrincan american vp.....woooohooo

I disagree O. I honestly don't see Hillary beating out Obama. But McCain is entirely possible. He don't have much to beat over there. But by his own admission, his stance on the war will hurt him a lot more than it will help him.

thanks loreli the voters have spoken
Keep dreamin...on about Hillary's downs-fall Jankia. Her husband lost Iowa too. Its not over. Not by a long shot. Nor will it be tommorow. And even if it is over for Hillary Clinton, the republicans are still in big trouble. The turn out for Democrats versus Republicans was overwelming....This is a clear message to Bush and the Neo-Cons that their goose is cooked.
Congratulations to Obama
