....and what YOU are going to do to fix it. Put away your BS speculations, the crap that you heard, what you "feel" that you know, and use what you have. The result is STILL nothing, but even degenerates can up up with something of value, so....
Let's talk America, and what are YOU going to do to fix it....
...by the way, pick ANY avenue that you want. we will address each until a mutual agreement can be made

I'm going to emmigrate! That'll make the neocons/theocratics happy...while I sit back and watch the country I used to be proud of crumble.
Yep, I'll be joining the parade "outta town"...the lifetime show was nice while it lasted, but I don't wanna play anymore.

Why don't we start with what is YOUR domestic agenda before giving any merit or analysis to it?

I'm going to vote Libertarian. It is the closest that I can come to saying, none of the above. None of the candidates for whom I will cast my vote, will have any chance of winning, but then again, I am not voting FOR anyone. It is the only way that I can say, the candidates that the repubs and dems have given us, are not worthy of the office that they seek.

I'm going to my caucus, and try to get my 2 sons to go.
I will continue to raise concerns with my political representatives, from bottom up, and treat them all with respect regardless of party. But get angry when I need to.
A person in office not doing their job is just that, no label applied, just expectation of office held.
(I love the swiffer!)

Good job Loreli. It is one of the things that I like about the Iowa Caucusses. It drills down to the local level and people actually have input. I wish that more states would use the same system. Then again, that might do more to empower the individual and lessen the importance of the party and the big donors, so, there is not much chance of that happening.

I will give you something specific. How do we stop fighting wars that are not in defense of our country?

The answer is clear!
Get the current administration out of office ASAP! Then step back and try to assess reasonably what all needs to be fixed, after that entire, 8-year disaster.
The list is long! But just that alone, will take some time in doing.
All is not yet lost however. Just badly compromised. We can and will recover. So Sunbabe, give it a little more time. Most of us still want what you do.

I don't think it is going to do anything myself. I think people need to start right in their own states, then go up the ladder.

It is the closest that I can come to saying, none of the above. You can request a write-in ballot and write in None Of The Above..
That's what I've done 3 of the last 4 elections...

It really didn't help. You're right there, and we have some real losers in Congress there is no doubt. Two of them at the very top. But then, they have very little power as it is too. They cannot override White House Vetoes. That's still not to speak terribly highly of them however, as they have not done well. Add to that, they are obviously very intimidated by the domineering, forceful nature of these two so-called "leaders", and tend to fold every time they are confronted, and give away the store, and the keys to the castle, as a matter of learned routine..
However if we had leaders with good sense and actual scruples, Congress wouldn't have to worry constantly about overriding Vetoes or the results of being lied to, while swallowing it hook-line-and-sinker. Most of the disasters we've been through in the last several years, and the list is very long, have come from this White House, including in many cases a belief that they are indeed above the law, and even further above the people. .
That sort of arrogant mentality doesn't work for anybody in government.
