All we need now is the scrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhh - to make it official! But she has 8 years of freakin experience  OK!
But wait - no one noticed. Wolf Blitzer, lap dog Stephanapoulous and the drooling liberal Media have no EYE DEAR what is going on in Pakistan either. They just sit there and drool like the stooges that they are! Billary speaks - they drool. The liberal media in action!
Judging from the posts in the forums- it seems that most fellers here are also on a Magical Mystery Tour  One of the fellers here thinks that India may have killed Bhutto Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds anyone??? People here are gabbing away about the same non sense - no one knows what is going on there yet they drivel away?

SO here is what an expert says about Billarys MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR - Maybe you fellers could learn a thing or two!
My immediate reaction was: "Did I hear that correctly?"
As a Pakistan analyst, I know for a fact that Pervez Musharraf doesn't wish to stand for election any time soon.
The upcoming elections are for the next parliament. Musharraf was just elected president of Pakistan, overwhelmingly, by popularly elected electors on Oct. 6. He's just begun his five-year term as the president of the country. Why would he ever want to run for one seat in parliament? It wouldn't make sense.
However, I checked the transcript of the interview later. That's exactly what she said.
And then it hit me:
Sen. Clinton really didn't know that the upcoming elections were for individual seats in Pakistan's parliament. She actually believed that Bhutto, Nawaz and Musharraf would be facing off as individual candidates for leadership of the country in the upcoming elections.
Sen. Clinton didn't know that Nawaz Sharif isn't allowed to run for office in Pakistan because of a felony conviction. She didn't know that President Musharraf won't be on the ballot because he's already been elected.
Sen. Clinton, a candidate for the leadership of the free world, apparently doesn't know the first thing about the country referred to by some as "the most dangerous place on earth."
Can we all say AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

As was clarified on the news, she was speaking about Musharraf's political party. For the record, here is a listing of some of Pakistan's more important parties:
Pakistan Muslim League -- Nawaz Sharif is the head of this party.
Quaid-i-Azam group of the Pakistan Muslim League -- Musharraf and his supporters.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement -- a student group out of the University of Karachi
Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal -- a coalition of six religious parties.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf -- which is headed by former cricket star Imran Khan.
There is also a communist party and a whole host of others.

Yes, I knew they were Parliamentary elections. Sharif was banned from standing for office by an election commission. The commission's ruling came after a protest from an opposition candidate. Sharif has contested the commission's ruling, although he has stated he would abide by it for this election. The ruling is supposed to be reviewed by the Pakistani Supreme Court; however, following Musharraf's dismissal of a number of judges, many individuals, including Sharif, have backed away from official court rulings.

Responses on the web mention something about Musharaf having to nullify their Constitution, as the Supreme Court was going to nullify the "overwhelming popular" election. Had to replace the judges.
The new Parliamentary composition: how does it stand on Musharaf's actions to secure his power?
Edit: Seems Bhutto was running for Prime Minister (how does that work, Prime Minister and President? two Executives?) and with a successful run, her party could dominate the legislature.

My mistake. Musharraf changed the policy to permit only two terms as Prime Minister, barring both of his primary opponents (Bhutto and Sharif) from the office.
All other portions seem to remain relevant, though. The Prime Minister is generally the lead of the majority party or coalition in the Legislature, so a major win for her party would seriously hinder Musharraf. Even with the restored Presidential power of being able to dissolve the Legislature (subject to rubber stamping by the newly formed Supreme Court) would limit his legitimacy.
Edit: I make no comment on the validity of Hillary's comments. Just supplying what facts I find.
The current Prime Minister is an appointee, an ally of Musharraf.
