Each year, the people of Dixville Notch, New Hampshire -- all 17 registered voters -- are the first in the state to vote and the votes are counted immediately. The townsfolk are fairly good barometers of the overall voting in the state.
Here are the results: Obama and McCain.
Obama won 7 of the 10 cast for Democrats. Edwards received 2 votes and Richardson 1 with none for Hillary!
Among the 7 votes cast for Republicans, McCain won 4, Romney 2, and Guiliani 1.
Another first, this may be the first time more folks voted in the Democratic primary than in the Republican primary.

If the margins of victory for Obama and McCain carry across the state, it will be a rout for both.

So far, Iowa behaved the way I thought it would, and it looks like New Hampshire is going the same way =/
I want something unexpected.

Well, apparently participation in the New Hampshire primary is slated to break records. According to CNN, some polling places are worried they may run out of ballots in the Democratic primary -- which means independents are chosing not to participate in the Republican primary.
