I for one believe that the reports of her demise are a bit premature. Obama is gaining traction & he is raising more money than Hillary. It may well come down to the convention, as neither may have enough votes to win the nomination, if the delegates from Florida & Michigan are not counted.
If it does go to the convention floor (& I would love to see that happen, just to make things interesting), Hillary has an excellent chance to prevail. Then again, if neither Obama or Hillary could win in 2 or 3 tries at the convention, the party could well look to someone else to carry the banner. Who knows, maybe Al Gore will be the nominee! Then again, the odds of that happening are miniscule.

Especially with her wearing 100% off-orange-ish-semi-yellow today.. Where does she get these colors!?!?!? I think her outfits are designed to keep us from dozing off. And they DO!!

I thought it was too early to say but I think it's about time....she's just a few miles away from the cemetery. Shuffling her team wouldn't do her any good I guess cos Barack is way too strong in Virgina and Maryland seem to be his country as well. Hillary, your pants are on fire. Obama is unstoppable!

Billary is in such bad shape this week that she will surely try the tear duct act again as a last resort -
In Maryland the new useless Dem Gov is backing her and yet she is still down by more than 15% - Maybe it is because he raised taxes after promising that he would not and now even the Dems here want to impeach him!
In Virginia the entire State is against her! Governor Wilder - the first Black Gov - is still pissed at Bill for his racist remarks about Obama and is campaigning against her!
The ship is taking water and the Bilge pumps are out of order!

With a higher delegate count of 1148 over Obama's 1121, I suspect the Clintons should really be sweating it out alright!
So, why are you hard-core right-wing republican zealots rooting for democrats anyway? Are you walking away from your own party? Merely because it's seeing some hard times and can't seem to find an electable leader? Isn't that when you SHOULD be pulling together, trying to solve all the interenal problems!
Where's your partisan loyalty??

HERE is a CBS report that has Obama ahead -
MM has not backup to his report -
I could say that I just heard on TV that the Patriots called for a recount and they won the game!
AND - it was on CNN!

MM's numbers are probably from CNN, as they match up with their current numbers.
Source - CNN
Real Clear Politics shows Obama with a slight lead. Either way, the numbers show that the two are in a dead heat.
I would say though, for someone who is doing so well, I do wonder why Hillary replaced campaign manager today. It seems to me that someone who was in the process of winning a campaign, would not be replacing a long time friend/advisor in the middle of a campaign, unless she was a little concerned about the direction that the campaign was headed.
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton has replaced her campaign manager with a longtime adviser, Maggie Williams, the campaign announced Sunday.
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton greets supporters Sunday at a school in Manassas, Virginia. The move came after Sen. Barack Obama swept three Democratic contests Saturday.
And CNN was projecting Sunday evening that Obama would win Sunday's Democratic caucuses in Maine, giving him considerable momentum heading into Tuesday's three primaries
Williams joined Clinton's campaign after her third-place showing in the Iowa caucuses January 3. At the time, Solis Doyle was urged to remain on board as campaign manager, but a senior Clinton adviser told CNN that Doyle had discussed stepping down previously. See why the shake up occurred ยป
"She's stepping aside," the adviser said. "She's not being blamed or nuked. She's wanted to step aside. Obviously, Maggie Williams was a transition but at the time wasn't announced."
A source close to the candidate tells CNN that Solis Doyle's job had been at risk since Clinton's poor finish in Iowa. Clinton's performance there coincided with the realization that the campaign had been running out of money -- a fact that had not been related to the New York senator until then -- but Clinton stuck with Solis Doyle out of loyalty, the source said.
Doyle has been reassigned to a senior adviser's job, the Clinton campaign announced in a memo to its staff.
Clinton's win in New Hampshire postponed the decision. But Williams began to take on many of the duties of campaign manager, and the lines of authority blurred -- senior advisers went to Williams for guidance, while the junior team was reporting to Doyle.
"There didn't need to be a dual-layer hostile environment - they just needed to sort it out," one insider told CNN. And another source added, "There was a lot of dissatisfaction with the ground operation. There was nobody in charge."
With Obama's wins Saturday in Louisiana, Nebraska, Washington and the Virgin Islands, and his projected victory in Maine, the Illinois senator took the pledged-delegate lead over Clinton -- 986-924, according to CNN calculations. Source - CNN

shuffling her team is not going to do her campaign any good. I strongly believe it's going to do more harm than good.

...We will see, but I think she has a little more pull with the Super Delegates, than Obama does. I would not be surprised to see a Clinton/Obama ticket come November that will capture a spread of voters.
Wills, you have a couple of awesome travel photos...

Gemini, yeah a clinton/obama ticket or vice versa will be just more than enough to win the general election with ease but I don't see that happening.
know what, I see an Obama/Kerry ticket if he wins the nomination and when it comes to Hillary, it's hard to say. she's way too unpredictable. she could end up picking another woman, oh yeah
Thanks a bunch for the compliment, man. Traveling is the only thing I do best I guess LOL

Just another nail in Billarys coffin?
Campaign Takeout

Monday, February 11th 2008, 4:00 AM An inconvenient feud
Democratic insiders agree that Al Gore is the ultimate prize among uncommitted superdelegates, and Clintonistas well understand a Barack Obama endorsement by Bill Clinton's veep would be a huge blow to Hillary.
They're hoping Gore will stay on the sidelines, but shudder over reports Obama has been courting Prince Albert for months.
They also believe that Gore must be sorely tempted to stick it to the Clintons, whom he blames in large part for his defeat in 2000.
"The level of animus between them is unbelievable," a well-placed Hillary partisan confided.
A prominent Democratic strategist with close ties to both camps echoes: "The Clintons and the Gores can't stand each other."
