WARNING: THE RIGHT-WING IS DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH
Because they truly see themselves as being persecuted by enemies both domestic and foreign and retaliate by scapegoating others to justify their narrow ideology...Can you spell paranoia?
All one need do is consider the history of the right-wing without talking about behavior. Just as no reasonable person could join the NEW KKK or the NEW NAZI PARTY by saying the people associated with those cults now have a different agenda and are really neat....Think about how much the word "anti" is associated with the right wing. With the exception of fascism, tax cuts for the rich or making war billionares out of war millionares, they are against most progressive ideas in lockstep with their base, the evangelicals.
Here's a short list...after looking at the names, it's amazing the ideology even exists in a educated and aware society...oh...I think I answered my own question.
Stalin, Hitler, Mao. Pol Pot, McCarthy, Pinochet, Idi Amin, Salazar, Franco, Mussolini, Saddam Hussein, Jim Crow?
Should Bush, Cheney and Blair be added to the list since they ignore the will of the people?
For centuries, right wing ideology and wars in the name of God have produced nothing but pain, suffering and death. Hundreds of millions have suffered and died because these ideologies can't expand on their own merits. Through christian crusades, evangelical missionaries or right-wing dictators that ideology is forced on the ignorant, the poor, the uneducated, the defenseless and the helpless.

Certainly an element of truth here.. Although Bush and Cheney deserve to be on their own list.

Unfotunately, half of your "black list" were, in fact, SOCIALIST/LEFT-WING leaders. Which reminds us that ANY ideology causes the very same disastrous effect on society if allowed to be taken to extremes.

Ideology is nothing but a bait in fishing for votes . What really needs to be watched for is something behind ANY ideology : i.e. lust for power. Now, that's dangerous "drug" , which turns both left-wing and right-wing leaders alike into identical dictators

Blind faith in anything is stupid. It causes the corrupt to rise to power and keeps them in power. The problem is, the blind will never be convinced that they're the ones who are blind. They always seek to blame the other side, as seen by the right and left wingers on this very blog.

Indeed,budo , and also add Hitler - wasn't he the leader of national-SOCIALIST party, democratically elected and adored by his people? Great start, great hopes ...and terrible results .Quite common scenario, unfortunately .

I answered your Stalin comment yesterday with a comparison of Stalin with Trotsky and the fact that although Stalin originally claimed to follow Lenin, he eventually allied himself with the right....BUT it seems to have disappeared.....Is this a right-wing conspiracy?
