What should have been a cakewalk for the Dems this year, is slowly degenerating into a disaster. I posted an earlier thread on a brokered convention in which I believed was Clinton's only hope in securing the nomination. This strategy has a major problem as the article above shows.
The Dems only hope at this point, would be for Obama and Clinton to run together, thus showing a unified party. The major problem with this scenerio? Who grabs the top spot? I do not see either ego willing to accept #2, especially with Clinton.
The remaining primaries will make this very interesting.

I have to agree with you.
What should have been a shoe-in has evolved into a disaster.
BTW, I'm not a member of either major party.

The remaining primaries will make this very interesting. All they need is a food fight or two to go with the pissing contests and this will end up better than Springer's ever been....

James Carvel is RIGHT about Governor Richardson; he is a turncoat.
Between Obama, Clinton, and Rush Limbaugh's "Operation Chaos" this is the best election year I can remember!

I don't think the democrats are in trouble and I do not think this is any kind of disaster.
What it is, happens to be a very close primary. The only other newsworthy item worth mentioning, as far as I am concerned, is the fact that the Florida and Michigan voters are being cheated out of their votes.
It is the republican and the media that are trying to make a close election into some kind of disaster.

The 2008 National Democratic Convention: Number One task, the equivalent of rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic, AFTER the iceberg was hit.
Rush Limbaugh says he has control over his EIB "Operation Chaos" Democrat Delegates and will communicating with them while on the convention floor.
Awsome!

When Obama and Clinton started distancing themselves from the rest of the field, I said that this would end up being a battle to the death between the Chicago Machine and the Clintonista Regime.

If I were a resident of either Florida or Michigan, I think I would right now move to Pennsylvania and establish residency and be sure to register to vote in that state's primary election. Then I would ponder the merits of moving back home, if I didnt like it there after voting in the Pennsylvania primary election.
