I can see how a 59 year old lefthanded duckie from Kentucky might see things as you do. But what you fail to see is that it will be the 18 to 35 year olds who will vote in Obama as our next President.
I also believe that he will choose a white woman as his running mate. Maria Shriver Schwarzenegger might look right cute standing next to him.

The operative word is "silly" meaning no I can't come up with any proof because it's meant to be a joke. Much like the myth of liberal news bias.
OF COURSE THE NEWS IS BIASED.
Not just Fox, but also the other guys as well. Look at who owns them, who works for them, etc. etc......
Have you gone a dinner party with the executives of major TV or print media, and listened to them talk? Right off the DNC talking points list for most of them. They receive these points, from both sides, and they happen to agree more with the DNC points,,,,so guess which one gets labeled truth. The other is written off as propaganda, or spin. They can't help it,,,,look at where they come from. Where they were trained.
Have you been on a CAMPUS lately, to see what is taught,,,,and the slant of the overall "thinkers" there?
Have you picked up a high school text-book, and read what is in there?
You would be surprised at how even things you remember from your living past, have been changed.
OF course Fox is also biased, because look at the niche they have in the market. Look at thier demographic of consumer, the conservative. They pander to the group, to keep thier market share. (Don't you pander to your customers.)
As far as the MYTH of liberal biais,,,,, well.....
back a few months ago, ABC did a piece from the field overseas with the military. As they filmed the soilders, they asked them who they were going to vote for. 60 men were asked, as the team gathered footage. 55 said McCain, (remember somewhat of a conservative slant to acting military), 3 said Obama, and 2 said Clinton. When the piece was aired,,,,, they showed 5 soldiers answering the question,,,, guess which five.
I'm not saying one group is bad, and the other is good,,,,, I'm saying that they all are bad, and somewhere between them lies the real truth. Media is no longer about reporting the truth,,,,it's about market share.
About the only mass media source I trust, is the financial section data report - (not the analysis), and the obituaries. It's hard to slant pure numbers, or death. Let's face it,,,,dead is dead,,,, he's not existance challenged.

IF they vote, of course. That's always been the problem with the younger generation. Hopefully, they get excited enough to vote. But given history, I'd be surprised if they exceed a voting rate of 30%.

To be honest, I don't think many of the people who run for public office are actually
'qualified' for their jobs. Politics is truly a lean on the job, job! jmho

I'm not voting for Obama (unless he is endorsed by Colin Powell), so I'm not even going to bother answering your question about his qualifications.
But honestly....I'm not comfortable with a newscaster being our Vice President. If something were to happen to President Obama, the country would be in her hands. I can't even imagine what that would be like.

I'm sorry, I know this is a very serious issue. There is no more important job in this country then that of the person elected to lead it. On that person's shoulders rests the opinions of the world about the USA.
Personally, I would never aspire to that exalted position, because I know I would do something that would forever destroy the American image in the eyes and judgement of the rest of the world.
I do not envy anyone who is willing, or even striving to achieve this job. And my hat is off, in respect, to anyone who would take on the headaches and responsibilities of trying to lead this mixed bag of personalities!

Obama wrote a book that spotlighted his confessed attraction to Marxism and how he hung out with Marxist professors and clubs while in college.
So my on-point remarks are based upon Obama's personal autobiographical confessions.

Assuming you went to college, were your beliefs any different then than now?
Is he a Marxist NOW, or isn't he? What's his voting record? For criminey's sake, he's in the same chamber as Sen. Boxer. (Who I personally vote against every time she's up for re-election. Feinstein is far enough left, thank you very much...) You have to have a lot to back up that statement aside from "Yeah, when I was in college, I hung out with radical thinkers."
Hell's bells. When I was in college, I was a Republican. I cheered at the dismantling of the Third World Forum (an anti-white, anti-male, anti-hetero, anti-American student newspaper). However, the party veered FAR to the right, and left me behind as a moderate Democrat.
So are you going to call me a Republican now, based on my political beliefs from some 20 years ago?

And this country barely has liberals. It most certainly doesn't have Communists operating at the national level. (What you CALL a Communist would, in any other country in the First World, be simply a moderate Socialist. Simply because your viewpoint is so far towards what other countries would call moderate fascism, doesn't change reality.)

Please pass the Alger Hiss file and order up all of the arrest records regarding confirmed communists that served in the United States government.
After the fall of the Communist government of the Soviet Union, when the KGB records were opened to the world, we discovered the list of all the Americans in high places within the US government that were on the KGB payroll, which fact of course now absolves Senator Eugene McCarthy as having been correct in his assertion that there were many communists in high places in the American government. His downfall occurred when he could not name names.
Well, the names were disclosed from the KGB files, making your latest assertion total turdiction.
