Nah, don't get caught up with the personal attacks made by the usual suspects. Not only is their logic out of kilter, and their "facts" suspect, but their repressed sexuality nuerosis has them covertly fantasizing about your Victoria's Secrets under your Witch's Burka.

Only then did I realize our Constitution meant that all men were created equal except African-Americans
The Constitution does not mean that.

Rev Wright sermon is a mute point to most of his supporter. It's Obama opponents that are trying to keep it alive in hopes that it will make a difference some day, which it won't. This is the principal problem with "Black Churches" that apparently spew hate and political partisanship sermons.
I have seen enough to want to amend Sec. 501 (c )(3) of the Internal Revenue Code to include a prohibition against preaching hatred against adherents of other religions, races, or peoples, coupled with an overt responsibility to provide members with quarterly religious sensitivity training in order to keep their tax exempt status.
This "God Dam* America" and "Kill the Jews" preaching should NOT be subsidized by taxpayers, with offending organizations subject to a surtax at double corporate tax rates.

Just tax all churches at the same rate any other business would pay and that's the end of that problem...

Good luck with that. All Churches teach that their's is the only way and that , therefore, all others are wrong. That could well be defined as "hatred against adherents of other religions". Or how would you define it ? Like it or not Wright had a right to freedom of speech just like other wack jobs like John Hagee; who btw doesn't seem to be getting as much play as the Rev. Wright, even though his rants are more frequent. All so-called "black-churches" don't preach racism BTW. Not anymore than any other church.

onoudn.......posted this "quote" from a link he has! Post the link so we can all see how that sentence is really worded and put it in the "context" it belongs........"Only then did I realize our Constitution meant that all men were created equal except African-Americans.....".....!
I never figured you to be this way until I started reading in between your lines! Then I knew just how you were, sir! So now I know you for what you are, huh?
Now, everyone here knows about links and you know how to make and use them. You turned what was said there into a racist remark! That is a lie and you know it! That tells me something about you! You are an instigator, a provoker and an inciter!
But, more than that, "onoudn", everyone knows "YOU" know where that statement came from and how it was formed....now produce the link so we can all see how you took it out of context and used it to smear someone on this site!

Left I think the problem is you just keep reading things into what I post that aren't there. I just posted what you wrote in the OP, and responded to it. That's the way threads are suppose to work. If you don't agree or if you meant something else, you are suppose to respond in kind. Not ramble on without making any sense or "read between the lines" to find imaginary meaning. And what "link" are you talking about that I'm suppose to have taken out of context. BTW you don't speak for "everybody". You only speak for yourself. Once again I have no idea what you're going on about.

He won the nomination with people knowing about Wright. So unless there's another revelation, like a video of him sitting there while Wright is carrying on, If I am not mistaken, he won most of his votes before this really came to light.??

501c3 Myths
Myth #1. Tax Exempt:
The IRS has acknowledged for decades that it is completely unnecessary for any church to apply for a tax-exempt status. According to IRS Publication 557, as well as IRS Code § 508, churches and church ministries are “exempt automatically.” Application for an exempt status is not only superfluous, but to do so subordinates that church to the IRS. Churches in America have always been nontaxable anyway. It simply makes no sense for a church to go to the IRS and seek permission to be exempted from a tax the government can’t impose in the first place.
The church in America is protected from the government by the First Amendment:
“Congress shall make NO law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”
It would be absurd to suppose that you could have free exercise of religion if you had to pay for it (taxes). If Congress can make NO law respecting the church, it can make NO law to tax the church.
The IRS lacks the jurisdiction necessary to tax the churches in America. The IRS has no more jurisdiction over the churches in America than it does over the churches in Canada. It would be as absurd (and tyrannical) for the IRS to tax the churches in America, as it would be for the IRS to tax churches in Canada. They don't have jurisdiction. Myth #2. Tax Deductible:
Whether or not a church or church ministry applies for and receives a “501c3 tax-exempt recognition letter” from the IRS, any contributions made to a church are “automatically qualified” as a tax write-off to the contributor, pursuant to IRS Publication 526, and IRS Code § 170(c)(2)(B). A church does not have to be a "nonprofit charitable organization" to be tax deductible, nor does it need IRS authorization to be tax deductible. According to the IRS, churches have that status “automatically.”

That is exactly right, onoudn, that came from the front page taken out of context and used by you with a racist slant!....................."I grew up in a state that supported segregation. Just like the rest of the south. I did not understand about racism or segregation until I was much older. Only then did I realize our Constitution meant that all men were created equal except African-Americans!..."...!
Growing up in Kentucky Blacks or African-Americans were nothing! To all whites in power at that time they meant nothing! That is how the Constitution was viewed all men were created equal except Blacks! What is it about the truth you don't understand!
History is history, onoudn, I can't change history! But, since my generation has gotten grown things have changed for the better! Just sorry for you......the white people, brown skinned people or any other color do not owe you a damned thing, sir!
I know within me I am not racist.....but, onoudn, as far as you I am greatly in doubt!
Now, everyone can see exactly what I said!
Just because I called Obama a liar! Before this race is over there will be more said than what I have said about him! Some will be true and some untrue! Just remember when they say he is a liar.....THAT IS THE TRUTH!

The constitution doesn't mean that. Left wants to go on and on on this point when, as far as I can tell through all the personal attacks and accusation of my being a racist, we agree. It's not taken out of context it's quoted exactly as is. Perhaps you meant to write that " .....it was only then that I realize that most people in the south, or where you grew up, felt that 'our Constitution meant that all men were created equal except African-American' or something along those lines. But that's not what you wrote. It's easy for someone to misunderstand the way it's written. And you know something you got a lot of nerve get pissed off over , what you claim is, my misunderstanding what you write and "taking it out of context" , when you always doing it to me; claiming there's meaning hidden between the lines or I'm being slick or trying to be smart.

I stand by what I said...as far as being a racist....you just wish I were!
You talk about me being "pissed"....I am! To think I have worked with Blacks, have black friends and had one save my life! To think I have went through hell and along comes someone like you! I just wonder how many of "you" are out there? I know for a fact not all the Blacks in this country think like you do! You are a minority in your thinking and that I am very proud of!
As far as this issue with you is concerned I have nothing else to say to you on this matter......so post on!

bardnsage.....I knew from our run in the other night you were going to attack me anytime you got the chance! And you have not failed....just as I predicted here you are with the attack coming on!
I see you hate authority figures which I am! So, you attacked my mother...whom is deceased! But, still you attacked her anyway. So, you must have been raised by a set of parents that beat you and treated you like the dog they thought you were!
I am sorry for that but, it is not my fault! It is also not my fault your intelligence level is not up to par with average humans! Must be a genetic defect from you inbred family! Who knows!
Anything else, brightboy?
OH, have a nice day!
