Arguing over dems and repubs (and McCain & Obama) being better, or worse, or different in any way that matters, is like having 2 of the nastiest, raunchiest, foulest piles of shit ever known to man and seriously believing one really does smell better, or worse, than the other....and actually caring enough about one of em to argue about it.
It'll be the same old game, just a few new faces playing it.....

As you approach the brink of the pit remember to turn around and face the nice people that as sentries are using their rifles to protect you from the onrush of any intrusive Paparazzi who are in the area and would like to ruin your day, and also, be sure to smile big immediately after the whistle is blown as the sentry detail cocks their rifles in order to fire their personal salute to all of you!
But then I awakened and it was all a dream. You can only imagine how that totally ruined my whole day to have woken up just before it got really interesting.

I see value in a range of viewpoints. Just not from borderline mental patients.
I'm in the moderate majority. My views are based on an understanding of the limitations imposed by reality. I am firmly a member of the "reality-based" community, and find the "faith-based" community to be dangerous (as typified by six years of failed neo-con control over all reins of power within the Federal government, not to forget to mention the previous decade of the neo-cons weeding out the paleo-cons, moderates, and independent thinkers from the ranks of the Republican party).
