Hijacking a plane is not an easy thing to do.
Hijacking it without the crew being able to alert Air Traffic Control (ATC ) is almost impossible.
The crew needs only to punch in a four digit code to alert ATC to a hijacking.
Unconcerned with the awkward question of plausibility, the conspiracy buffs maintain that on that Sept 11, the invisible hijackers took over the plane by the crude method of threatening people with box cutters and knives, shooting and stabbing passengers to try to lure the crew out of the cockpit and spraying gas (after they had attached their masks, obviously).
And yet, miraculously they were able to take control of the plane without the crew first getting a chance to punch in the hijacking code. Not just on one plane, but on all four.
At this point in the tale, the conspiracy theorist is again forced to call upon the services of the improbability drive.
So now that our incredibly lucky hijackers have taken control of the planes, all four pilots fly them with breath taking skill and certainty to their fiery end, all four pilots unflinching in their steely resolve for a swift meeting with Allah.
Apart from their psychotic hatred of "our freedoms", it was their fanatical devotion to Islam which enabled them to summon up the iron will for this dreadful deed.
Which is strange, because according to another piece of hearsay peddled by the conspiracy buffs, these guys actually went out drinking and womanizing the night before their great martyrdom, even leaving their Korans in the bar -really impeccable Islamic behaviour - and then got up at 5am the next morning to pull off the greatest covert operation in history.
This also requires us to believe that they were even clear headed enough to learn how to fly the huge planes by reading flight manuals in Arabic in the car on the way to the airport. We know this because they supposedly left the flight manuals there for us to find. It gets better.
Their practical training had allegedly been limited to Cessnas and flight simulators, but this was no barrier to the unflinching certainty with which they took over the planes and skilfully guided them to their doom.
If they are supposed to have done their flight training with these tools, which would be available just about anywhere in the world, its not clear why they would have decided to risk blowing their cover to US intelligence services by doing the training in Florida, rather than somewhere in the Middle East, but such reasoning is foreign to the foggy world of the conspiracy theorist, too trapped in the constant rotation of the fruit loop to make their unsubstantiated fabrications seem even semi- believable.
So is it any more difficult to believe that someone would have taken the months to learn how to implode the buildings than it is to believe that Muslims would learn how to hijack airliners and fly them into buildings? And mind you, we are not talking about the kind of implosion that would be certain not to cause collateral damage, we are just talking about bringing down the towers in a manner that would sufficiently obliterate any evidence about what might really have happened. A little sloppiness adds to authenticity of the hoax -- though the buildings could not have come down smoother had the demolition actually been scripted for a movie.
By the way, isn't it interesting that CDI had a detailed plan for removal of the debris from the WTC within 11 days of the attack. Apparently they are far more efficient at planning cleanup than at planning controlled demolition...

Lacy, Muslims blow themselves up in the name of Allah. Do you read the newspaper? It happens every day of the week somewhere on this earth. Sunday three Muslim women blew themselves up in Iraq and killed 250 innocent people - all were likely Muslims.
Do you think that was a conspiracy too? These Muslims left suicide videos as did the 9-11 Hijackers.
Only a fool tries to make sense out of animals like this. Why do you require a rational motive for people like this?
They are nuts and want to destroy those of us that do not believe as they do. That includes you. Get used to it.

I love it. More lame crap. When will you admit that NONE of them were identified as hijackers to any degree that would be considered proof? Even IF you believe that DNA survived the Pentagon crash site, all you can "prove" is that those people were in that crash. And at that, the "official claim" is only that five of the six hijackers of flight 77 as reported by flight crews were identified. There were in-flight telephone calls of FOUR men taking over one of the flights, yet the FBI identiifed FIVE hijackers. Based on.. on.. Oh, yeah. They had Middle Eastern names and nationalities.
Just out of curiosity, where did they get the DNA to compare to these foreign nationals? All their Saud relatives happily provided DNA so the US could prove their family members were responsible for the attack?
Al Qaeda video? Last videos from the hijackers themselves, some of which took 6 years to release? Hey, I can show you a video of Forrest Gump receiving a medal from President Lyndon Johnson. And the CIA was charged with "authenticating" them. From what they could see in the broadcasts. Not from what they could examine on the physical videotapes themselves, since they've never had those tapes in their hands. No, they saw them on broadcast television and said, "Yep. Those were filmed before 9/11/2001, and are the hijackers that took over those planes and attacked us!" (The same CIA that was charged with "proving" Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and did so under the watchful eyes of Shure-shot and Scooter, I might add.)
Strange how many people can accept one set of improbable circumstances and insist no one question it, and show all kinds of very vague circumstantiality as "evidence," and deny the viability of a set of probable circumstances based on "lack of proof" but with a much greater amount of testimony and circumstantial occurences pointing to the truth. It must be really blissful there in blue-pill land for so many people to be so desperate to take them and avoid the chance that they might find out a shocking truth.
I used to have a quip on my MSN profile. It said: "Money may not buy happiness, but it'll buy a good enough actress I can't tell the difference." Apparently $1/2 trillion in debt on top of all the revenue of the last year will buy a lot of acting. I'm just not sure I get why people are willing to pay for it.

lacy, I emailed a friend who is an explosive engineer that works for Controlled Demolitions Inc. They are the largest implosion company in the world. I asked Ed what his opinion was about you troofers and the idea that the WTC Towers were actually imploded.
First he said this. Then why would they have taken the chance that the plane hijacking worked. After all that was risky at best.
Then he said that the best way for a troofer that is interested in the real truth to understand how difficult it is to implode a large structure is to read this link as it is explained in layman's terms (or laywoman's) .He then said that a demo company would have had to bore into the facade and plant bombs on many floors all the way up the structure. This is explained on the link.
Lacy, do you have any vids of janitiors with large drills scaling the WTC and embedding explosives through the facade and into the structure? Please share this if you do.
I took the time to read it and then reread it. It is even more difficult to buy into your troofer non sense.

It is pretty much a known fact, that the weight of the upper floors falling was enough to topple the succeeding floors below, causing a cascading effect.

I have also read and seen documentaries on this, and it does not substantiate what you and your "expert" are claiming.
Read some other view points and broaden your horizons, like i said, experts disagree, but what I have previously stated seems to be the consensus of most.

Kenn, obviously your closed mind that has been brainwashed prevented you from reading the link. The link is not agenda driven. It is not discussing the WTC attacks. It is from"How Stuff Works" and is a simple generic explanation on how they implode large buildings.
WTF is there to disagree with kenn? There are not many opinions as to how to implode a large building. It is science kenn.
