Serbia captures fugitive Karadzic
Bosnian Serb war crimes suspect Radovan Karadzic, one of the world's most wanted men, has been arrested in Serbia after more than a decade on the run.
The Bosnian Serb wartime political leader disappeared in 1996.
He has been indicted by the UN tribunal for war crimes and genocide over the 1995 massacre at Srebrenica.

66 Srebrenica victims exhumed in Bosnia
SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina (AP) -- Forensic experts say they have exhumed 66 Srebrenica massacre victims from a mass grave in eastern Bosnia.
Murat Hurtic, the head of the forensic team, says the last bodies were taken out Friday. The team exhumed two complete and 64 incomplete skeletons.
An ID card found in the grave supports initial information that the bodies were of Muslim men from Srebrenica who were killed in the July 1995 massacre.
Some 8,000 Bosnian Muslim men were killed after Bosnian Serb troops overran Srebrenica in what the International Court of Justice last year defined as an act of genocide.
Over 3,200 massacre victims have already been found in nearby mass graves, identified through DNA analysis and reburied.
During the 1992-95 Bosnian war, the United Nations declared Srebrenicia -- which had been besieged by Serb forces throughout the war -- a U.N.-protected safe area for civilians. A number Bosnians flocked there for protection.
But in July 1995, Serb troops led by Gen. Ratko Mladic overran the enclave. The outnumbered U.N. troops never fired a shot. They watched as Mladic's troops rounded up the entire population of Srebrenica and took the men away for execution.
The International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands, has ruled that the Srebrenica massacre was genocide. It has been described by former Secretary General Kofi Annan as the darkest page in U.N. history.
Mladic and the former Serb political leader Radovan Karadzic, both indicted for genocide, are still in hiding. Mladic is believed to be in Serbia; Karadzic's whereabouts are unknown.

Ratko Mladic is a fugitive also. Momcilo Krajisnik got 27 years in prison because the indictment did not cover the Srebrenica Massacre.
U.S. had offered to pay a $5 million reward for Mladic and Karadzic's arrest. Wonder if U.S. will pay the $2.5 million for Karadzic.

Maybe this reward payment will make our government take a more serious look at the war in Iraq since the Massacre genocides was upon muslims, and thousands were boys and men. Many children and women were tortured and raped.

Ethnic cleansing at its best. Unfortunately, that's been business as usual in that part of the world for centuries - kill the males and older females and get the younger ones pregnant...my heritage. Great grandma was 15 when she saw the rest of her family killed, and was left pregnant with grandma.
It ain't nice knowing that your great grandpa was a murdering rapist.

I really believe someone should tell the Muslim world what we did there! Since it seems they are not getting the message.
Those Serbs would sit on the mountains surrounding Sarajevo and snipe the people as they walked the streets! They killed men, women and children.
That was not enough...no...they would then go to towns and villages find Muslims....herd them to a ravine, men, women and children, dug up holler or cave. Then murder them like so many animals!
Yes, keep hunting those murderers till there are none left. Be sure to have a trial before hanging their azzs!
Just remember this caused one World War. Just because of racial and religious hatred! It will never stop in my lifetime. One of these day...maybe!

They do know luckie...I've watch the youtube on the "Srebrenica Massacre" and listened to the suvivors stories. Very very sad. I'd post the link, but MD might not approve, for some of it is graphic.

Gman's post is accurate and is the reason why I am so energetic about obliterating the militant Jihadist terrorists BEFORE they strike at us some more and levy death and mayhem.
Accordingly, and this is fair, better they should die in massive numbers than even one more American should be brutalized or murdered at their hands.
So if you agree that self-defense authorizes both retaliation as well as a pre-emptive strike then I would like to see your post in agreement with the "we shall survive" plan of attack.
Any leftists who are opposed to America killing the terrorists in massive numbers, even if it takes wiping out each militia-aged Jihadist male on Planet Earth, are nothing more than apeasement wanks who like "Corporal Liberal" at the Battle of the Little Big Horn thought all he had to do was stroll on down Last Stand Hill and find an Indian to negotiate with and all would be well.
Since I am enamored with and want to keep my scalp on my head, and also want to keep my head on my shoulders, rather than submit to the barbarous acts of the Jihadists I believe that its best to use stealth aircraft and stealth naval warships to deliver sophisticated smart weapons from afar, killing Jihadists when they do not know, did not see, and did not hear the approaching death that took their lives.
A rifle is the best thing they can put in their fighter's hands; a rifle is the worst thing the Pentagon can put in an American's hands. We need banks of computer screens and buttons to be pushed where our soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines are removed far from the scene of battle and use droids, robots, and drones to target and kill mass quantities of the Jihadists, again. And again. And again. And again, etc. ad infinitum until they either all die or until the unconditional surrender of the enemy is achieved (at which time we can then round up the domestic enemies for indictment, arrest, trial, incarceration, and removal from our society, as is reasonable and proper.

THE HAGUE, Netherlands - A U.N. spokesman says ex-Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic is in the custody of the Yugoslav war crimes tribunal in the Netherlands.
Spokesman Liam McDowall confirms Karadzic is at the U.N. detention center near The Hague, where he will stand trial for genocide.
The confirmation came Wednesday shortly after a helicopter landed behind the high wall of the jail while another helicopter hovered overhead. Two black minivans drove through the prison gates moments earlier.
Karadzic faces 11 counts including genocide, extermination and persecution in the 1992-1995 Bosnian wars. Too bad for Karadzic, that he will not possess the rights of an Englishman in a court of law when he is dragged in chains before the UN prisoner's dock. I would feel better about the UN Tribunal if it adhered to the legal principles that are enumerated in the Magna Charta, Declaration of Independence, and the American Bill of Rights, but it fails to do so.
Because the UN Tribunal fails to adhere to the legal principles that are enumerated in the Magna Charta, Declaration of Independence, and the American Bill of Rights I am opposed to any US President, Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense, or defense department or CIA personnel ever being tried before a United Nations War Crimes Tribunal at The Hague, where there would be no trial by jury, where defendants are transported beyond seas to remote locations for trial, with no American Rule of Law nor Constitutional protections, including no presumption of being innocent, the right to a trial by disinterested jury, the right to confront and challenge witnesses against the defense, protection from unlawful search and seizure, the introduction of hearsay evidence, the guarantee of bail, the submission of Amicus Curiae Briefs, the enforcement of the exclusionary rule, and a host of other criminal trial practice protections against unfair trial procedures including a final judicial review by the US Supreme Court in its appellate capacity.
I am convinced that the United Nations should create a War Crimes Tribunal exclusively for Americans and the British Commonwealth nations where the Rights of an Englishman are preserved before the War Crimes Tribunal as legal process that conforms to the Code Napolean or which violates the American Declaration of Independence, Rules of legal procedure, and U.S. Constitutional protections pretending to possess jurisdiction over citizens of the United States of America and the British Commonwealth nations would induce me to suggest that the Defendant be rescued by military intervention before final judgment is pronounced and punishment imposed by any such foreign jurisdiction.

To my mind Karadzic is a definite candidate for a death penalty. Where Winston differed from the US over war crimes tribunals was that he envisaged arbitrary execution for any genocidal SS military that fell into Allied hands - concentration camp guards, commanders of Einsatz units etc.
The Americans managed to talk him around to a more humanitarian and legal stance in time for the Nuremberg trials but anyway the old bulldog sent the SAS after any serious filth that came to their attention. They had a roaming execution squad for any such specimens still found domesticated in Germany. They were tracked down, isolated and dealt with swift justice, without discussion.
Screw the humane rights of people such as Karadzic. Apart from mass graves he had dug, he had wounded and dead Bosnians freighted away from the front in the same trucks. A British UN officer insisted on taking the wounded away and was invited to separate them from the corpses in the load. (It was before the NATO intervention). The Serb asked "have you got the balls to do that?"
After doing so, he went to the Serb Commander, faced up to him and shouted "well I've got the balls to do that, so where are your fvcking balls you whimp... did you leave them in the village with the women and children you killed?" The Serb did not answer.
