Rush admit's that Republicans are doomed if Obama wins the nomination
Not much need for any further statements. It's pretty clear in the transcript. Look's like the Republicans may as well call it a day.....

RUSH: That's already happening. It's already happening, but take any company, go to the drug companies, having excess profits, windfall profits, "Your profits are too big according to us Democrats and us liberals, so we're going to take those profits and we're going to apply it to something that has nothing to do with your business." Zowie. I'm telling you folks, write this down, August 7th, 2008, the Democrat Party is not going to win this year. This cannot happen. If they keep this up, if they keep talking this way, they are going to lose the White House. I don't know about congressional races and Senate races, they have a different dynamic going on there because those races are not going to be nationalized. Unfortunately. They should be if there was any kind of strategery, but there isn't. But this stuff that these people are talking about, they're on the wrong side of this energy business. The American people full well understand that taxing anybody is not going to lower the price of gasoline and it's not going to produce any more oil. They know that. This is not complex. This is more of this arrogance that I talked about earlier, the Democrats saying every American agrees with them. Meanwhile, the number-one book coming up on the New York Times best-seller list is going to be an anti-Obama book while Nancy Pelosi's big book has sold 2,700 copies or what have you.

But these people, I don't care if they're Republicans or Democrats or whatever. They do not want to see a rookie presidential candidate in Berlin or anywhere else in the world run down their country, especially a Democrat presidential candidate who ought to be thanking God that he is an American, that he lives in this country, and that it has provided him and his wife such a wonderful life and a great opportunity. He's running for president, for crying out loud, and he still sees fit to criticize this country! I'm just going to tell you: All of these blue-collar white Democrats, Pennsylvania, Ohio, you name it -- wherever Obama was unable to close this thing against Hillary -- they heard it, they saw it, and they don't like it. They may not tell a pollster that, but when they get a chance to vote, I guarantee you, it is not going to be for The Messiah.

Now....now....let's be fair. Let's apply the same test that Rush himself would apply. He said it now he has to own it. According to him if Obama won the nomination the republican's were "doomed". Now if Obama had made that kind of statement, no matter how long ago it had been---and then tried to change his mind----only eight months later Rush would be all over him calling him a flip-flopper, and claiming that he can't be trusted. He might even be saying that he's a liar. So what's good for the goose is good for Rush.
What's all this talk about ignoring the facts. The transcripts have him saying it's all over for the Dems if Obama wins the nomination. I haven't messed with any facts at all. It's off his own website and he signed it. Soem

Oh and I just wanted to add. If we can't believe what he predicted back then, why should we believe anything he predicts now....wake up....he's just saying whatever he thinks will keep peeps listening.

Because, back then, McCain was saying he was not going to go after Oblunda for fear of being branded a racist. That was the whole point of Operation Chaos - to have the Hildebeast bloddy Oblunda up, politically speaking. It worked and much about Oblunda was exposed. Now that the ground work has been done for McCain, he can go after Oblunda without the left branding him a racist. In fact, Oblunda played the race card himself so many times, that race is an issue that is now off the table and Oblunda will now be judged by the content of his character - just as Dr King dreamed.
A week is a long time in politics. 6 months is an eternity.

I never cared for Rush..lets see ..was a drug addict..money saved him from prison.
Barack Obama......................Used Drugs..not sure about addiction. as always 
Cindy McCain.............also was addicted to drugs.Also money saved her.
So maybe Rush was high..when he said that  and if he said it..his word isnt GOLD ! ....being ''Doomed '' ...hardly. Whatever anyone says..it doesnt mean, is fact, law, or true..Only what anyone wants to think is true. Facts come at a later time !

He was against McCain before he was for him......
Here's more of what he said then, but what short memories his groupies that think he's all that have. "He's going to reach out to Democrats in Congress," Limbaugh said, citing "McCain -Kennedy" and "McCain -Feingold" as examples of McCain-sponsored bipartisan legislation.
"This is how he's going to get even with Republicans for defeating him in South Carolina in 2000," Limbaugh said.
"The Republican Congress will effectively be neutered."
In 2000, McCain lost South Carolina to George W. Bush, effectively killing his first presidential bid.
Limbaugh also suggested conservatives should be wary of media endorsements of McCain. McCain has won the endorsement of the New York Times.
"It was just six months ago that if a candidate was endorsed by the liberal media we were instantly suspicious of them," Limbaugh said.
Now he said, "we've got drive-by media organizations having orgasms about McCain."

Yeah last time you claimed he didn't say something I provided the transcript from the only source you would accept, Rush's Website, and suddenly you didn't have anything else to say. The link provides enough information for anyone to go to his website and get the transcript again. So since I've taken your word on good faith once already, and proven your claims of knowing everything he says on the air is false, it's your turn now to prove that you aren't just saying that to send me on another wild goose chase, only to go silent on the subject again.

I stood by Rush as he battled his drug addiction and I stand by him now. I listen to his show every day and I know that he is predicting a McCain landslide. I agree with him. The Dems are going down and Obama will lose in a landslide.
