Its official now. Governor Sarah Palin has arrived on the scene and her advent has totally scattered Obama's chickens as Sarah stands astride the pillars of history as the Vice President everybody has always secretly wanted.

She can kick A$$ and do no wrong. She makes Obama bin Biden look lame, which no doubt they actually are.

MSNBC even understands that with Palin on the ticket, it is not going to be tolerated for media Wanks to try to besmirch Sarah with leftist rhetoric, and has canned Olbermann and Matthews as Anchormen for being too radically vocal as Democratic proponents as the sea of public opinion is tidal waving in a Sarah sunami.

I think that Sarah Palin should put out a cameo lipstick as a fundraiser, with her portrait on the bottom.

At noon, January 20, 2009, Sarah Palin will become the highest ranking women political figure in Washington, D.C. making both Hillary and Pelosi distant dwarves.

There are even Sarah Palin action figures like Barbie Dolls out now (Check out the Sarah action figure wearing the plaid skirt!) Go ahead and google everything Sarah and the Universal big bang of Sarah's debut continues to roll through the Solar System.

Palin RULES the electoral SARAHnghetti.

I think I will go buy a bunch of red lipstick and give it to all my friends too.

What most of the Dem's don't understand is even if we ( women) don't like what another woman believes in, we will stick together as women.
Kinda like we can say things, but don't let anyone else say them!

There was a blog on here about the "fire" in a woman. The piece of us that makes us strong and lifts us up. I say that Govenor Palin has that fire, and so do we all.

I respect your opinion kattsmeow, but all women are not part of the "Palin Flock." For me, it is what the nominees stance on the issues are, not their gender or ethinticity. I won't vote with the determining factor being race or gender. I welcome any and all thoughts, opinions, and responses.(JMO)

I agree Thange ... we may see, hear and read the exact same information and still come to a different decisions but the decision would be on the issues ....

I understand what Katt was saying and in some ways it is very true just as it is true within a particular race as well as gender or political party. But i also believe that she was talking on joining together on the issues more than the gender but that's just my opinion and maybe i'm wrong.

But as for voting because of a race, gender or political party reasons only, i agree those are silly and stupid reasons and serves no good purpose IMO, but it does happen more than most like to admit within all race, gender and political parties ....

I've wondered myself how accurate the polls really are...how many people would admit to a stranger that they wouldn't vote for a black or woman candidate just because of race or gender...

You folks that are selling bamarama short and thinking Palin is some kind of second coming for the repubs...I wouldn't be counting any chickens just yet!!! Yeah, I love her too, but she's only one major flub away from sinking the same ship she's keeping afloat right now.

My guess is Clinton told bamarama at their little private lunch today to lay off Sarah and get back to trying to equate Johnny Mac with a 3rd lil Bush term. We'll see if he has sense enough to do it. I'm thinking he does.

Whoops, maybe I didn't explain good enough.
You know how you can trash your own family, but no one else can?

If both party's will just stick to the issues like no one is a woman, or Black, or a war hero, then maybe it would be ok.
I for one would have loved to have had Sen Hillary Clinton running. Not because she is a woman, because I believe in her health care plan. ( since she wasFirst lady)

All private life should be just that, Private.

Alive i agree she derailed Obama while he was in full stride ... it was amazing and funny how fast he jumped ... and IMO he made it worse on himself by doing so than she did .... his fear was showing by him doing it ....

No body jumped that fast when Biden was named and think about it he's been around for 35 yrs ... guess he wasn't seen as much of a threat as Palin was

i do agree this will be a fight till the end ...

alivenwell....absolutely correct! The race is between McCain and Obama! Their names will be on the ballots in November!

If anyone of the V.P. candidates self-destruct....another can be picked as a stand-in and the campaign will go on! With, I believe, neither candidate hurt from the loss!

I like Sarah a lot. Enough that I'll vote for McCain. At least I think I still will!!

She's definitely my kind of lady. For quite a few reasons I think picking her was a ballsy move on Johnny Mac's part. But now that the "rapture" has worn off a little, I'm reminded that Johnny Mac is 72 and has had some health problems that could recur at any time. It doesn't seem unreasonable now to ask myself if need be, is she REALLY qualified to step in and assume the role of leader of the free world. Though I still believe she's at least as qualified as bamarama is, I'm not quite as sure that that's plenty good enough as I was a week ago. I can easily see my voting for Johnny Mac possibly going from enthusiastic today, to the lesser of 2 evils by election day.

Todays polls will be as meaningless a month from now as the month old polls are today. Nah is right, this one's going down to the wire. And whether some on here can understand and accept it or not, there is still a real possibility that Obama will win the election. A VERY real possibility!!

A LOT can happen in 7 1/2 weeks!!!

I believe in her health care plan.

Katt, I know it sounds like a great idea on paper, but in reality, Government run health care is a disaster. I know this from experience. Australia has Government run health care and you have to wait forever to get care, except in emergency situations. Unless you also have additional health insurance, you cannot have the doctor of your choice, if the care you need is not needed to save your life you can be waiting 6 months to 2 years. Government runs nothing well and health care would be no different. The best thing that could happen to the health care industry would be if the Government got the hell out of it, deregulated the insurance industry and allowed people to buy insurance from which ever company they chose without state government mandated minimum coverages. Competition, deregulation and tort reform is the way to make health insurance/care more affordable.

Aint it the truth! He spends an inordinate amount of energy addressing her and her experience while he should be working McCain over.

The first presidential candidate in history to be running against a Vice Presidential candidate.

I agree Nova ...

Burns i understand what you are saying but there has been a jump in the polls ... here is a Link but i agree on polls are nothing but todays polls as Alive said ....

e poll found that the race for the White House is a virtual tie since the parties' nominating conventions, with Obama, an Illinois senator, at 47 percent support of registered voters and McCain, an Arizona senator, at 46 percent.

An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released on Tuesday also showed Obama leading McCain by 47 percent to 46 percent, a statistical dead heat. Obama's lead in that survey was down from 3-point advantage in August and a 6-point edge in July, NBC said.

Before the Democratic National Convention in late August, Obama held an 8-point lead among white women voters, 50 percent to 42 percent, according to the Washington Post/ABC News poll. After the Republican convention in early September, McCain was ahead by 12 points among white women, 53 percent to 41 percent, that survey found.

As for health care i agree with Nova ... family in England will tell you the same it suxs big time and they are even talking about giving an option to theirs because of it .....

Burns i have to disagree on health care ...

reason government regulation never means lower prices it just means less choice of services ..... besides there is not 1 i repeat not 1 government program that is running successfully ...... they are all in a mess and why do you think they are? ... and health care would be no different ....

World health care Ranking ( now see how many countries come BEFORE the US., the underline countries have a generalized health care system.) It may be not profitable, but it sure in the hell better then what we currently have ourselves. Just becuae its not 100% success, doesnt mean its a failure. Would you rather tread in deep water with a life jacket that floats ya only 15% out of the water, or 75%?
