you can be. And to think, at one time I thought you were a reasonable man, and was someone I would respect if I met you in person. What a laugh. Not everyone is perfect like you, Gman, and if everyone was, then you would have no one to put down to make yourself feel so good about yourself. Guess that is God's plan for me, to be your whipping post.. NOT! 
On topic, I could care less if Obama lies, so does McCain, so does Palin, so does Biden, come to think of it, I think lying is a job requirement of a politician!!!

Never said I complain about anything once some dunce gets elected. I have always voted, just mine tend to not count as I don't go with the mainstream candidates.
Personally I am all for Pat Paulson for Pres, and Elvis for VP

If everything were equal yes however, in reality, which things are not, I disagree. I would say that those who get elected are a mixture of everything. Saying what the people wish to hear, having a reality that does not necessitate lying, standing on a platform that can withstand attacks, making a connection with the people in some way and inspiring confidence or, at least inspiring more than the other candidates.
This of course, necessitates a lot of lying to cover up faults and inconsistencies.
