It's like saying all whites on the bus sit on the right and all blacks sit on the left, but there's no seats for the indians. And we all live in the UNITED States (except a few here like Nova), and all ride the bus.

Well so much for an attempt to ask the supporters of the two 'major' candidates why they think an undecided voter should vote. Tear this one up like you do everything else. I won't be back here to see how much you can trash an honest attempt for real information and not trash talk about the other side.

I actually hope Obama wins for the simple reason that he can, if he gets his act together, unify the US and, provide a fresh start for America around the Globe.
That said, in reality, not much will change except perceptions but, perceptions means lots when dealing with dealing with governments that felt left out of the picture by the Bush Administration. They will not feel left out by the Obama Administration for a year or so then, it will be business as normal but, in that year, a lot can get done as leaders of the world suck butt to get into your god graces.
As well, under his administration, the left will finally understand that politics is a mix between reacting and prevention as they see Obama having to deal with some pretty tough situations using ransid methods rather than face the options which would be leaving his country less defended than they should be.
In short, reality will make him move to the center more and, bind your country together more rather than have it divided as it is.

the point of the separate threads was to give the two (three.. eight) sides their own place to post why they think their candidate is the best choice for America.
Everyone seemed to want to rag on the other candidate and not tell why anyone should choose their candidate.
I have an open mind, I want to know why you thingk I should vote for your candidate. But of course, like everything else in P&CE, no one can really stay on topic.. can they (including me)   
so stop posting here and this will sink to the bottom with all the other good ideas and the fluff and trashing will stay at the top where it belongs..

The ultimate document we sought was Obama’s birth certificate. Unlike the other documents, Hawaii birth certificates aren’t public record. Only family members can request copies, so when the campaign declined to give us one, we were stalled.
On June 13, 2008, Obama’s campaign finally released a copy, while launching a fact-check Web site of its own, Fightthesmears.com. The site is a direct response to allegations about Obama that won’t go away: He’s Muslim. He took the oath of office on a Koran. He refuses to say the Pledge of Allegiance. PolitiFact has researched all of these accusations and none of them are true.
When the birth certificate arrived from the Obama campaign it confirmed his name as the other documents already showed it. Still, we took an extra step: We e-mailed it to the Hawaii Department of Health, which maintains such records, to ask if it was real.
“It’s a valid Hawaii state birth certificate,” spokesman Janice Okubo told us.
Then the firestorm started.
When the official documents were questioned, we went looking for more answers. We circled back to the Department of Health, had a newsroom colleague bring in her own Hawaii birth certificate to see if it looks the same (it’s identical). But every answer triggered more questions.
And soon enough, after going to every length possible to confirm the birth certificate’s authenticity, you start asking, what is reasonable here?
Because if this document is forged, then they all are.
If this document is forged, a U.S. senator and his presidential campaign have perpetrated a vast, long-term fraud. They have done it with conspiring officials at the Hawaii Department of Health, the Cook County (Ill.) Bureau of Vital Statistics, the Illinois Secretary of State’s office, the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois and many other government agencies.
Sounds like a Vince Flynn novel.
I haven't heard anything about the birth certificate for weeks.

I will fess up one big thing that bothers me about Palin.
When people started accusing her that Trig was her daughter's, people said leave the kids out of it (including Obama)
And yet, how many magazine covers have I seen with her and Trig, or her and all of them. . Using your kids to one's own benefit, but can't talk about "bad" stuff?
Gimme a break...which way is it?
