"Stock Market Crash" and "When did FDR take office as President?"
Then, please, when did the first Television make its entrance into American homes?
Was FDR still alive when that happened?
In one paragraph Biden Botched three events in recent American History.
In fact, Biden is of the age he would have studied or heard from his parents the following historical facts:
A. The date of the Stock Market Crash
B. When FDR took the reigns of leadership in the White House
C. When Television made its debut in american living rooms across America.
Some one, please, will the liberals now castgate Biden as they did Palin or are you only castgators of Republicans?

sorry, didn't see it, but how many did Palin get for one screw up.
Biden made three actually more like five if you put the moments in time into different pairings.
I'm not seeing the left ripping their own guy apart for being this stupid and what is worse:
Katie Couric has got to be the dumbest cluck of them all to not call Biden on this.
She couldn't have been operating on all 8 or 6 or 4 cylinders and not nail Biden to the wall with it.

Biden is senile, boring and washed up. Obama was a coward for picking him.
McCain made a bold move picking Palin and demonstrated that he is a crisp thinker and a bold leader.
In the face of an unpopular war, an unpopular sitting president and an economy on the downside of the business cycle, the Democrats should have a 30 point lead.
But they don't. It is neck and neck.
That tells you a lot about how weak the Democrats' candidates and platform is.

imho..no..as the meat of his statement was true..
bush did nothing for the american individual here.. He did not go on tv and lay out the truth to the american people .. instead he used this as an opportunity to save some peoples behinds and as a power grab..without explaining anything further than... this bailout is needed ...and you, the taxpayer, will pay for it...
If anything Biden is guilty of talking off the cuff without rewrites.. so if I may.. here is the "palinized" version...

Personally I always preferred unscripted statements that are off the cuff...
one can actually learn what the person is really like.. unlike the " lipstick on the pig ".type of person..

Telling the truth is a gaffe? I hardly think that knowledge of the internal workings of Fannie and Freddie are prerequisites to the job of Governor of the state of Alaska.
NONE of the candidates have a full grasp of the responsibilities of the jobs they seek, but both McCain and Palin have experience in executive capacities.

Capo, even with no background in finance, just reading the newspapers made it very clear that Fanny and Freddie were private institutions that were in trouble. I'd consider good reading comprehension to be a requirement for governor of Alaska, but maybe that's just me.
