Here we go. Have you heard all the hoopla and media reports and polls recently about how many whites have "unfavorable" views about black people.

Know what that is don't you? It's the Democrats and their propaganda department in the media setting us up in case Obama doesn't win.

This way, if he loses, we are supposed to think it's because too many white people are racists.

Could it possibly be that, if he loses, it is because most people didn't like his platform?

90% plus of black people say they are going to vote for Obama. Does this mean they are racists?

If 90% plus of white people said they were going to vote for McCain, whould that mean they are racists?

Oh, yes. I am sure they are working on something. I am sure they are also working on a "voting tampering" agenda. The liberals play the race card so much that it is pathetic. A friend was telling me about a talk show she was watching. A black guy called in saying he was voting for Obama because he is black. He said he wanted a black man to be on top, or something like that. The host ask him what he thought about the fact that a white man will vote for McCain because he is white. The black man on the phone said that would mean the guy was a racist. The host just said " I rest my case" and hung up.

I believe it arieann...this morning while reading the news online and listening to CNN, a video about a boy that wore a anti-obama T-Shirt to school caused a disruption. I've read other school students also wearing shirts with this type of agenda:

I blame the Father in this above case.

Will (some) people vote for Obama because he is 'black'?

Absolutely.

And (some) people will vote for McCain because he is white.

Similarly, (some) would have voted for Clinton because she is female...and no doubt, some will cast their vote for the McCain/Palin ticket because it includes a female.

In an ideal world, we would know each candidate's definitive stance (and expected follow-through) on issues, and vote based on the issues with which we are most interested and/or concerned. Obviously, our world is not ideal. Campaigns rely on this, and one strategy they use is to appeal to people's biases. Research clearly indicates that one factor (most) people consider, whether deliberately or not, is how well we identify with our chosen candidate.

Sometimes, we identify based on skin color. Or gender. Or religious/moral leaning. Or perception of social class, or at least, how well they seem to understand our own status. Or perceived stance on issues. The list could go on, ad infinitum.

This November, people will go to the polls, and racism will be part of the deciding factor. PART of. Not, THE only factor. Some people will vote based on bias, even though that bias may not necessarily reflect true racism (aassuming an acceptance that bias, by definition, does not always imply a lack of objectivity).

There are plenty of racists who don't identify themselves as such, believing that the term only applies to people who commit hate crimes or use the 'n-word'...they do not understand that racism has far more layers than just criminal action or intent, or 'politically incorrect' speech.

(certainly, sexism...and probably all other 'ism's'...are manifested in a similar multi-layer manner)

I am voting for McCain because he he sexy and a hotti. No, I am not. I am mostly voting for him in hopes he will win just for the purpose of getting liberals pissed off. I am one of those that did not get educated enough.

Well it's better than no reason to get out and vote I guess?

Only at times. I am getting better.
To be on topic, why do you liberals always, and I mean always claim racism? You may not start out that way, but when you have been defeated, the "R" word comes out. If being racist was an issue, dont you all have enough common sense to know Hillery would have won over Obama in the earlier election? And legacy, you wussed out on a thread I started. Now pull your pants up. Wait and do that when you log off. And be careful, you may go blind.

The answer, of course, is because it works (or at least it used to work until it got so old, tired and worn out that it would gag a skunk). Liberals have played on white people’s misplaced sense of “white guilt” for decades, playing it like a violin. They’ve used it like a political battering ram to intimidate anyone who dared challenge anything they managed to link to the imaginary guilt complex they created.

So they try to hide everything behind a banner of “race” (or gender, class, sexual orientation, etc.) so that it becomes sacrosanct and impossible to defend against. Anyone challenging their ideas, no matter how preposterous they might be, is threatened with certain ostracization and bashing to be labeled a “racist” for daring to challenge anything that comes out from behind the imaginary race shield.

Fortunately, people of all races have educated themselves, the heyday of liberal race trickery is past and only the most pitiful of liberals (and that’s going some!) still cling to this old, worn out game.

Seems like propaganda to me..

Propaganda my ass.Look all the political people kids are to make book reports on, former presidents pictures hanging everywhere. You cant deny it. Jesus has already been taken out of schools because of muslims. If they remove the opinion of one political figure, they should remove them all. And that includes MLK. This political correctness shit has gone way to far. Only certain groups can speak their minds. Take that back, only one group cant speak their mind. That is American, straight, white people. As for democrats gearing up to play the race card, A friend of mine told me of what happened at work today. She said she, along with others, were in the nurses office when suddenly, a black women started complaining about a lot of democrats are voting republican this year only because they dont want a black man in office.Politics was not even the subject going on. It was just an out of the blue statement. My friend said it was obvious the statement was in a way to try to start a race discussion about the election. I guarantee it, if Obama loses, democrats will be claiming vote froud to keep a black man out of office. They have claimed fraud so much, but yet no one has ever been convicted. As far as elections should stay out of the schools, the school down the road is where people go to vote. The gym is closed down that day. There arepolitical banners everywhere.America is becomming a communist country. As for his statement, I believe terrorist do love Obama, That why they have given him money.
