This is an issue and now people don't want to see that
those who are in the U.S. illegally have been taking advantage of the
stupid shit changes in how loans are made available to unqualified persons in the first place.
That is bad enough. You top that off with giving loans to people who are not citizens, have no visa, no passport, no nothing meaning if they decide to up and leave, they let the lending institution who gave the loan holding the bag.
The problem is, these second rate arse hole lending institutions can be secure they can fall back on other institutions who insured their stupid shit loans.
Then that means eventually it falls to the banks to make good on the stupid ass loans.
How many freaking loans are enough to screw up the economy even in an area of the U.S.
Well, listen to the program, and prove the facts wrong. This OP is based on that show, prove it wrong, or call for removal of all illegals from the U.S.

Thanks, I'd appreciate that too - I just don't have the patience to sit through the chatter to get to the point of the post.
In principle, I'm against amnesty - it didn't work before, it won't work this time either. That said though, I think the immigration laws need reform as badly as the bank regulations, or lack thereof, do. There's obviously no way to 'just send them back' by waving a magic wand and empty rhetoric isn't going to solve the problem. At present though, I don't see either side being willing to address the issue...they're both playing ostrich. If we don't talk about it, it will just go away.

The only fair and rational public policy regarding the invasion of the USA by illegal alien Mexicans is in like manner as the Kingdom of Hawaii, simply to annex and occupy Mexico, then issue all Mexicans US Passports, and absorb the Mexicans into the USA with a mandate to learn and use English as the exclusive official language.

1) Not all illegals are from Mexico
2) Who would we have then to take the blame for all our problems? (or would we still be allowed to hate them just cuz they can still speak Espanol and because they are brown-skinned?)
I dunno if the US passport office could get them all passports. Even now, those born in S. Texas and delivered by a midwife are being denied passports -- even after they have served in the US military.
