The Barack Obama campaign is asking Missouri law enforcement to target anyone who lies or runs a misleading TV ad during the presidential campaign.
seems to be a no brainer... if you lie.. you will go to hell... or jail...

it's old news angel... the ads are misleading in that they are calling opnions ...facts... something that Gman does all the time...
it is ok to say that in your opnion someone will probably do something in the future ..based on what he said or did in the past.. but it is a lie if you say... the person will do it because they said something that is taken out of context in support of your position..
example: everyone who eats subway sandwiches will lose weight is a fact .. because one person said that he did....
is a lie...
but if you stated..the fact is...that one person lost weight eating subway sandwiches..and you could to...is not a lie..
truth in advertising is always a good thing.....

Katie..I am not worried (yet...) as it is just bush playing commander in chief war games... and is (imho..) .saber rattling.. to make himself feel better...
Wamu is starting to have a bank run on deposits... where this will go is anyones guess ...but if it reminds normal people tha the government is still in control..imho that will be a good thing...

I was reading some Missouri blogs tonight and from what they were saying, it's not the ones that run the state doing it, it's the ones that want to run the state. Some bloggers said tonight they had received several Obama campaign phone calls asking for donations. I wouldn't be surprised to see the citizens at their town hall or calling a boycott on all this malarky. Not a prosecutor in Missouri would touch this case.
