I also saw this in another video, it is the Democrats who are responsible for this economic mess we are in. I am not a Democratic, nor am I a Republican but after watching this, I know who I am voting for.

If you watch one video and base your vote on that, you deserve what you get. Read a bit, you'll find out that there's plenty of guilt to be passed around - the deregulation that took place that caused the financial meltdown was initiated by Phil Gramm, voted for by John McCain and all the other republicans save one.

I found this video very informative. I am glad you put it up. But you may get arrested. Obama is trying to shut up anyone who does not speak in his favor. I see how democrats have stupid ideas about wanting to give, give and give to special interest groups. The more you give, the more that person takes. Then the demos want to give more until there is nothing left to give.Then they blame it on republicans, saying republicans dont want to give enough.

Why do you think it was named the Gramm-Leach-Biley Act? To try to 'turn it on republicans?' 
Exactly one republican voted against it, and it wasn't John McCain. Please, if you don't believe me, look it up. This was the act that repealed the regulations established after the 1929 crash to try to avoid exactly what we're experiencing now.
Lacy, you're exactly right. I think they're working together to keep us so polarized that we can't see the facts in front of our faces because if we ever did, we WOULD vote them all out.

Luneib, I watched part of that video before I got disgusted with the spin. The CRA amendments that Clinton signed he had originally threatened to veto! When he did finally sign the deregulation, all the republicans, including McCain and Gingrich, were all patting him on the back and smiling broadly about how bipartisan it was and how it greatly expanded the opportunity for business to expand their client base and gouge even more poor people. There, frankly, is no way either party can blame this entirely on the other party without hiding their participation in it.
When they were enacted in 1977, the original CRA provisions were signed to force banks to STOP DISCRIMINATING. The regulations "forced" them to adhere to the same rules for loans for EVERYBODY. Including qualifying for them. They couldn't just say "Well, no, you want to build your restaurant in Harlem instead of Central Park West, so we're not going to loan you the money." It was to help stop the decay of and encourage people to be able to revitalize inner city areas that had become run down, but no one could get financing to begin to refurbish them. They would loan a less qualified developer more money to build a new apartment building in a "good area" than they would loan someone to renovate an existing building because it was in a "bad" area. Everybody in 1977 hailed it as a great step to stopping the expanding ghetto areas of inner cities.

Actually, not so far fetched at all "wiki internet investigator". There is a thread here of threats to 1st amendment rights set forth by Obama. A person could in fact land in jail if a politically slanted LE official happens to be the one doing Obama's bidding.

In Orwell's "1984", any "inconvenient truth " was quickly stuffed into the "memory-hole" (i.e., incinerator). Looks like we have some operatives here who are trying to do just that , even in the face of broadcast videos which anyone can link to.
Truth is a stubborn thing, and will forever keep crawling out from where people try to bury it.
If you have problems with the video, read up on all of the references, and make up your own mind. But silencing people is ABSOLUTELY un-American.

Haban, as we all know, it can be 100% true (and in fact I don't doubt that it is) while still omitting the fact that the right side of the aisle was as complicit in getting us into this mess as the left. My comment isn't about the video itself, but about the judgment of anyone who only looks at one side of the picture and even more, implies that anyone casting aspersions on their chosen party must be making it up...
