Rezko talked with prosecutors, may aid probe, sources say

Antoin "Tony" Rezko, a convicted influence peddler who was once one of Gov. Rod Blagojevich's most trusted confidants, has met with federal prosecutors and is considering cooperating in the corruption probe of the governor's administration, sources told the Tribune.
Rezko's possible change of heart—after years of steadfast refusal—has sent ripples through a tight circle of prominent defense attorneys who represent dozens of potential witnesses and targets in the wide-ranging probe.
His cooperation would give prosecutors investigating the governor and his wife access to someone they have described as an ultimate political insider at the center of a pervasive pay-to-play scheme.
Rezko's trial this year laid bare a culture of scams, bribes and backroom deals stretching from City Hall to the Statehouse. It even became fodder in the presidential campaign of Democratic nominee Barack Obama, whose fundraising and personal ties to Rezko go back more than a decade.

Yes it is suspect. The window of time to get the big bounty for Barry is closing fast. Maybe some Republicans got to him.
You can be sure that ILL Gov Blagojevich will be serving serious time in prison. I wonder if they serve Kielbasa?

Rezko was all tied up in the Democrat political machine in ILL. He is in prison. Barry and ILL Gov have been implicated in many dealings with Rezko.
Everyone knows the story of Barry's house that Rezko helped finance. Why are you defending criminals like this?
You get upset about some BS about Palin and rape kits that was phony and when Barry is a close friend of a guy in prison that helped him buy his $1,000,000 house you defend him?

Let me see......accusations of charging for rape kits, Troopergate, raising a grandson as a son, and then there is the pregnant daughter. How does to compare to associations with wire fraud, bribery, money laundering, and attempted extortion?

No, it's more like I want to be hearing the truth and not someone's slant on things.. I am tired of the American people being led around by the nose by anyone who thinks they can manipulate this country like an innocent, uneducated child.
