Yesterday Sarah Palin opened this can of worms not once but twice yesterday all the while being the walking info-mercial for John McCain...let this party begin!
Why Do the Palins Hate America?
Imagine the reaction if Michelle Obama had belonged to a political party that advocated secession from America, a party whose founder ranted, "The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government... And I won't be buried under their damn flag... I'm not an American... I've got no use for America or her damned institutions." And imagine if Barack Obama had attended that party's conventions, even after swearing his oath of office to uphold the Constitution.
But wait, this has nothing to do with the Obamas -- it's all about the Palins! For seven years, Todd Palin was a member of this party -- the "Alaska Independence Party" -- and Sarah Palin repeatedly attended its annual conventions, even after she had been sworn in as Alaska's governor. The quotes above are from the party's founder, Joe Vogler. So where are Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, and Peggy Noonan, the ardent defenders of America from the radicals who hate our freedoms and attack our values?
Maybe these patriotic pundits just haven't heard about the Palins and their connection to the Alaska Independence Party? Because if they knew, I'm sure they'd be upset. I hope someone will tell them so they can expose the Palins for the America-hating radicals they are -- terrorist appeasers who pal around with people who despise our country and hate our freedoms!
Please cut and paste or otherwise forward this message to every patriotic, country-first, red-blooded American you know -- I'm sure they'd want to know that the Palins have been palling around with people who hate America so much they want Alaska to be a separate country.

Todd Palin was registered as a member but never participated in any party activities aside from attending a convention in Wasilla at one time.
We had several hundred people attend that convention and nothing of noteworthy status took place outside of nominating the most conservative candidate up to that date to ever run for Governor of Alaska. That candidate was the sitting Lt. Governor, Jack Coghill. This man was one of the authors and signers of the Constitution of the State of Alaska.

Most recently I have pulled the entire record regarding the Alaskan Independence Partys' 1994 Convention file. I went through all the video, audio and paper records for that function. Something I should have done earlier before making the statement that Governor Palin was a member of the Alaskan Independence Party. For that I humbly apologize to Governor Palin, and, to both national and local press, and media.
I, foolishly, repeated and accepted as fact what an officer of this membership shared with myself, and husband Dexter Clark, over a year ago. My statement was incorrect regarding the Governor's membership. What was correct was that Todd Palin was a member, that Sarah as a candidate for Governor appeared at the AIP Convention in 2006, and sent a welcoming DVD to the membership at the 2008 AIP statewide convention. Those truths do not take away my fault in mis-speaking regarding her membership. For that I do take full responsibility. I hold Governor Palin in high regard, I believe she is far and away the best individual Alaska could have as Governor, and as a woman, mother and wife is one of the best examples walking!

Although the origins of the Alaskan Independence Party, or AIP, date back to the early 1970s, it wasn't until 1984 that it became an "officially recognized" party by the State of Alaska. Advocating an "Alaska First" policy focused around the land and resource development, the AIP has since emerged as one of the most significant state-level third parties operating in the late 20th century.
The formation and history of the AIP largely revolve around Joe Vogler, a plain-spoken gold miner, non-practicing attorney and charismatic icon of local politics who ran unsuccessfully for governor three times between 1974 and 1986. After getting 4,770 votes and 5% as an independent in the 1974 election -- a race decided by less than 300 votes -- Vogler formed Alaskans for Independence (AFI) in 1978 in order to promote the idea of an "Independent Nation of Alaska." As AFI was non-partisan and devoted to issue advocacy, Vogler later formed the AIP in order to support the more political and campaign-related aspects of the Alaskan independence movement and his candidacies for governor. His success in the 1986 campaign, in which he received 10,013 votes -- 5.6% of the total -- retained "official party" status for the AIP in Alaska, placing it alongside the Republicans and Democrats. Hmmm.... who is the bearded gentleman in the video who stated that Sarah was a member of the AIP until her ambition caused her to switch to the Republican party?
Find the recording from the speech of the bearded gentleman around 2 minutes into the video
The man who posted this video on YouTube is a bit upset about his site having copyright violations, but if you skip forward to around 2 minutes into the video you will see a bearded gentleman addressing a meeting. He clearly states that Sarah was a member of the AIP until she switched to the Republican party.

I have an idea, why don't we just shut the country down as all it's citizens seem to hate it so much? I am sure that terrorists all over the world will breathe a sigh of relief knowing that we brought ourselves down through our own self hatred.

This afternoon, the director of Division of Elections in Alaska, Gail Fenumiai, told TPMmuckraker that Todd Palin registered in October 1995 to the Alaska Independence Party, a radical group that advocates for Alaskan secession from the United States.
Besides a short period of a few months in 2000 when he changed his registration to undeclared, Todd Palin remained a registered member of AIP until July 2002 when he registered again as an undeclared voter.

What I find hilarious is that each side isn't buying the other's mudslinging, but they are of course buying the mudslinging of their own party. Palin hates America as much as Obama. Take that any way you want.

Independence for Alaska is firmly opposed; we need somewhere remote in order to establish Mexican Reservations, once we get a handle on the best public policy towards handling the illegal immigrant problem.
Those who support the American annexation of the Kingdom of Hawaii over the objections of the Queen, are now contemplating the merits of annexing Mexico in retaliation for the civil invasion of the United States by 20,000,000 militia-aged Mexicans.
PS: The US Department of Energy NEEDS Mexico USA's oil monoply, Pemex, and the US Bureau of the Mint would do wonderful things with Mexico, USA's second greatest in the entire world silver deposits.
The FBI and DEA would have a field day arresting the Mexican Mafia and drug cartel people in addition to jailing any Mexican public official convicted of bribery.
Illegal Aliens could be marched to the new Mexican reservations, as is reasonable and proper.

The video of the kids is about young men learning to accept responsibility for themselves, and learning that they can be anything they dream they can.
Would you prefer they are druggies, pushing drugs on your city streets, and drive by shootings that kill innocent children..
they chant about accepting responsibility for themselves and their actions, they chant about they are empowered to believe they can be what they dream to be.. and people see this as a bad thing.. amazing
yes, they also make statements about Obama's political planks.. and this is wrong how? if these young men believe in what Obama stands for, then why are they not allowed to have those opinions and proudly proclaim them
no where does it say in that video that those young men are being brainwashed, that is what people are saying about it.. but has anyone asked those young men anything, talked to anyone involved with that video? hmmm?
