is all that's needed.
As of Oct. 06, 2008
Obama has 359, McCain 194, with 15 toss up in a tie, states http://www.electoral-vote.com/.

270 and its over. Baring some major misstep, is the election as good as over? Even given all 15 tie votes to McCain and some how he slips a few more to the Obama pledge pile McCain is a long long shot.

In high-profile contests where one of the major party candidates is black, pre-election telephone polls have often been wrong, overstating the strength of the black candidate. In polling circles this is known as the “Bradley effect” or the “Wilder effect” or the “Dinkins effect.” Will it also be known as the Obama effect?

this election is over as McCain has nothing left but to try to use lies and innuemdo to sway the uncommited voters...

evidently he forgot that democrats have a long memory too... the keating mess was always there... all it needed was the trigger pulled...

McCain the economist flunked then..and he is flunking now...

btw..

I don't know why, but I figured California would be a red state...
California is an interesting state.. we can vote republican when we have to.. . (Arnold is doing a good job.. ) but always have voted democratic in the national elections..

270?

With the way things are going in this country lately , I'm seriously thinking the way to go is more like 420.
