And you're voting for McCant and Palin?
Who is the bigger feminist? After all that is an important question. I'm not sure if it's up there with what's in Sarah Palin's personal or email, or well i don't really have an or. I save right to edit this or later on if i choose. If women have the right to change their minds, men have the right to finish theirs.
Is Sarah Palin a Feminist? Friday Feminist f*** NO.
Miriam and Ann teamed up again to say "f*** no!" to the claim that Sarah Palin is a feminist candidate. Welcome to the second double-trouble edition of the Friday Feminist f*** You. This week we're super excited that conservatives have finally acknowledged that sexism exists! Bravo for that. But we're not super happy about the fact that, because she's a woman, people are saying that Sarah Palin is a feminist. So this week we attempt to answer the question: Is Sarah Palin a feminist? Making this a Friday Feminist.. Interesting, The feminist do not think Sarah Palin is that big of a feminist is my take on all that.
So how about her "one heart beat from the here after, boss" McCain? Again, Friday Feminist f*** You: John McCain This week's f*uck you is gonna be short and sweet -- a quickie if you will -- because I'm sure we're gonna be doing many more like this from now until the election.
F*uck you, John McCain, for being a total hypocrite when it comes to women's rights. First off, earlier this week, one of your campaign spokespeople, Carly Fiorina, said that you understand that women want their insurance to cover birth control. She failed to mention that you have voted against legislation that would have guaranteed that. Then later this week, you had the audacity to say that you're "committed to making sure there's equal pay for equal work," totally neglecting to mention that you voted against the Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, which would have guaranteed people the right to sue their employers for wage discrimination. All of this earns a big F*UCK YOU, John McCain. The first of many. Well wasn't that just interesting? Let's see, hmmmm I can see that my brother of another Jon Weiner, I sh!t you not. can spot a fellow ladies man. Seems like Im not the only man that has taken a lady from her misses. Yes, again cause its that good. More than 100 New York feminist leaders released a joint statement Sunday afternoon criticizing Hillary Clinton and supporting Obama for president - evidence that Clinton's support among women activists has declined significantly in the days before the super-Tuesday primary.
Clinton's support for the war in Iraq was the leading reason she lost the support of the group, which calls itself "New York Feminists for Peace and Barack Obama!" "We urgently need a presidential candidate whose first priority is to address domestic needs," the group added, ..."Choosing to support Senator Obama was not an easy decision for us," the group stated, "because electing a woman president would be a cause for celebration in itself." They "deplored" the "sexist attacks against Senator Clinton that have circulated in the media." But, they stated, they nevertheless supported Obama because his election "would be another historic achievement" and because "his support for gender equality has been unwavering."
Well isn't that just interesting. Reference. Feministing.com Feminist.com Huffingtonpost.com, Jon Wiener, Feminist-leaders oppose

Burns, I'm feminist enough to believe I have the right to vote for whomever I please, regardless of what any other feminists might believe, and so do all the other feminists out there.
Don't even go there....

Depends on your definition...you might be a feminist if you think you have the right to vote, the right to own property, the right to work at whatever job you're qualified for, and the right to still have a job after maternity leave.
They needed to lay someone off when I was pregnant, so I was let go (and rehired after I gave birth - no maternity leave for me!). I was also told that I was best qualified for additional training AND a promotion, but they couldn't do it because I was a woman.

Vote for your non - feminist, means little to nothing to me. Just proves how out of touch your candidates are with his people as his people are with them.
Just so i have this clear, you're voting for someone that is against what you claim yourself to be? ok then.

LA NOW President endorses Palin in Cali.
"This is what a Feminist looks like" said Sherry Mandel long time NOW activist -
Meet Shelly Mandel, the president of the NOW Los Angeles chapter who endorsed Sarah Palin and John McCain.
Ms. Mandel has an “originalist” view of the National Organization of Women, which was originally formed for the advancement of women in America. No woman has risen higher than a participant on a presidential ticket, so to NOW, Sarah Palin embodies the fulfillment of their charter.
But in the years since NOW was formed, the group has amorphed form supporting women’s suffrage regardless of party into a political apparatus which only supports about half of the women in America, the ones who register Democrat and support Democrat causes.
Which is why to the new crowd at NOW, the latest endorsement is a surprise. Shelly Mandel spoke up for all women in American when she supported a woman who has risen farther politically than any woman in history.
“America, this is what a feminist looks like. Sarah Palin.”
–Shelly Mandel, NOW Chief endorses Palin.
Good for Shelly Mandel for making a supremely moral judgment, consistent with her beliefs and the advancement of women everywhere. Good for NOW Los Angeles.
See for yourself - Palin gets NOW endorsement

Feminist Eve Ensler urges women to vote against Sarah Palin
Feminist-activist Eve Ensler wants women across the country to vote against a woman. A woman named Sarah Palin, who's running for vice president on John McCain's Republican ticket. Men can join in too. On the Huffington Post, the acclaimed author of "The Vagina Monologues" blogs:
“I write because I believe we hold this election in our hands. This vote is a vote that will determine the future not just of the U.S., but of the planet. It will determine whether we create policies to save the earth or make it forever uninhabitable for humans.
It will determine whether we move towards dialogue and diplomacy in the world or whether we escalate violence through invasion, undermining and attack.
It will determine whether we go for oil, strip mining, coal burning or invest our money in alternatives that will free us from dependency and destruction.
It will determine if money gets spent on education and healthcare or whether we build more and more methods of killing.
It will determine whether America is a free open tolerant society or a closed place of fear, fundamentalism and aggression."
And she’s a bit frightened of what will happen if John McCain and Sarah Palin are elected. And not just in this country.
“I believe that the McCain/Palin ticket is one of the most dangerous choices of my lifetime, and should this country chose those candidates the fall-out may be so great, the destruction so vast in so many areas that America may never recover. But what is equally disturbing is the impact that duo would have on the rest of the world.”
Eve Ensler is an award-winning playwright and outspoken activist for international women's rights organizations. She created V-Day, a global movement to stop violence against women, and performances of her plays help fund safe houses, education and community leadership to aid women in countries around the world.
Do you agree with her about Sarah Palin?

Is the braless thing a prerequisite for a Feminist?
I thought the ONLY prerequisites were a mustache, gay lifestyle, no children and pants - no skirt.
I am wrong again!
