I've made my decision. As I stated earlier, I would decide after last night's debate who I want as President of the United States.
Angel54214, step to the plate and accept the nomination. I chose Angel because she showed me something neither party candidate has. Accountability, respect, and the humility to correct her own mistakes.
For those of you who don't know, a while back Angel's words were twisted in the threads and used to make false accusations against me. But unlike Obama and McCain, Angel didn't resort to finger pointing and mud-slinging. She stood up, accepted responsibility and apologized.
Above all, whoever we elect needs to have the qualities of respect, accountability, and humility. And since neither of the party candidates have shown me those qualities, Angel gets my vote. I just hope she doesn't pick an idiot or a drunk as her running mate.

That's my problem with both parties, and candidates .... they never like to say "I was wrong, I made a mistake" .... it is always someone else's fault for anything negative that happens .... they seem to think that they have to be seen as perfect, regardless of what the truth is .... I guess if they can't take responsibility for the bad as well as the good, I don't care to have either one of them in charge.
