Hell, that a whole lot more interesting and positive than the screwy propagandistic doo-doo I read online about Obama today.   
(BTW, -- off topic -- I read some good stuff about his mother. Heck, I really would have liked that woman ~grin~ She was a lot more of an active activist than I've ever been, but our hearts would have been in the same place, methinks  )

Ah.. not to pick on anyone (and no I didn't listen/watch the link) but do you know every single person in your church? You know their politics, their beliefs, and everything else about them?
Katiefromstratford, no, but, I did know for example that Senator Charles Grassley was there, or the former great Iowa Hawkeye Running Back, Norman stormin' Granger was in attendance.
If a person of Kahdafi's (spelling) was in attendance I would have been aware of it. IT would have been a hard secret to hide.
Plus, I went out of my way to know who was sitting in the church by talking at church, at the church meals or coffee times or inviting people I'd never seen out for coffee. But, that is probably the odd duck that does things like that in todays helter skelter too busy life style.
And, yes, I even knew their political views because I get to the politics of any issue sometimes rather too fast in conversation. why is that? Because talking about the weather is boring as the snot one talks about running from a kids dripping nose.
The point is, Khadafi was a terrorist, muslim, and in that radio program,
you should actually listen to it,
Ferrakan (spelling his name wrong) is quoted just in the past few days with calling Obama the 'messiah'
Listen to the program interview, it is only 10 minutes. then talk to me.

um... I know I will take flack with this, but everyone is having a go at Crouching about this post, and having been on the receiving end of this kind of treatment, I am very uncomfortable right now.
KatiefromStafford, sorry in earlier post i misspelled stafford, thanks for your sentiments.
Actually I am aware of the attacks. There were things to be noted from that program, yes, Obama is called a christian but one how likes to:
Cherry pick, his beliefs. Sorry for the word 'cherry' as that can be used in other contexts as well.
Farrakan is quoted in this program as calling:
"Obama the Messiah" and that is later in the program if I recall correctly.
But, remember this, Obama is a young 40 year oldish person and he has around him a circle of individuals in the African American community old enough to be his great auntie or uncle by age and life experience.
They will do all they can to bring to pressure the changes they want for a more socialized society and that includes perhaps changes in relating with terrorists in the middle east. Farrakan in particular is going to have his tennacles in Obama's spine like that episode from Star Trek- Next Generations.
It is where the crew members are eating this type of bug. The only way to over come it is for Reicher to kill the admiral who is helping to introduce the bug to the crew.
This by the way was a metaphor. for those of you who didn't get that.

I listened to that radio program TWICE...and even backed up several times to see how in the world you concluded that either speaker was referring to Khadafi attending that church. Perhaps you should dust off your speakers, sir...or perhaps your ears.
And the bit about Farrakhan and the "messiah" was something FARRAKHAN chose to say elsewhere. Nobody, even Obama, has ANY influence over what that man will say, for crying out loud.  Believe it or not, not all black people are related to each other...nor do they all think alike.

Collipso louie Farrakhan calls Obama the Messiah he does carry a lot of weight and yes probably more influence over Obama than you care to admit.
After all Pastor Wright is also a freaking bigot who was Obama's mentor.
The fact that Farrakhan got this award at Wrights' church with Obama in attendance says more than you care to admit.

The award given by a MAGAZINE that was founded by Rev. Wright but that his daughter was editor in chief of when the award was bestowed? What is this? Is this like that game, "Seven-degrees of Kevin Bacon"?

Keep smiling, Crouch. And perhaps listen to the radio interview (that YOU posted) again. It was the DJ's choice to add the little off-topic, out of context rant/blurb by Farrakhan (who most people agree is kind of an over-exhuberant, rather scarey, nutcase zealot...to say the least). And NO ONE said Khadafi attended Rev. Wright's church. NO ONE said Obama "rubbed shoulders" with that man. Heck, no one even said Obama rubbed shoulders with Farrakhan.
What makes me laugh, though, is picturing the US Customs and Immigration Department stamping Muammar Khadafi's passport and entry visa and telling him to have a nice day  ...at a Chicago Christian church, nonetheless. (I honestly think that would have been at least a whisper of his visit on the news, don't you?...considering he's been extremely persona non grata in this country up until Bush's very recent mind-change.  )
BTW, I shook hands with Pope John Paul. Does that make me Catholic? Does it even make me religious?

Yep, that's the Khadafi video speech I posted, Angel...I'm sure Obama was just plain thrilled to hear ol' Muammar refer to him as "Islamic" and "our Kenyan brother" before he was royally slammed.
...and I still contend that the host of the radio show and Mansfield didn't say Khadafi rubbed elbows or attended the same church that Obama did. They just kept getting back to the fact that Obama's Christian...a "liberal-post modern" one
