Nope. Even Fox confirms this and we all know Fox is impartial. Barry the terrorist sympathizer and his senile running mate are ahead and getting ready for their test which would not occur if McCain wins.

Prepare to tighten sphincters.

CBS Commie-Bot-Sympathizers What in the hell does their pointless, let's interview our select Democrat audience poll mean? I don't think I've ever seen so much tainted journalism in my life. And you puss brains actually believe it.

...Hey Lefty, is there an ongoing contest for who can start the most threads with the same content?

I must have missed it.

...Earlier, I thought you were a little less impressed with Obama, from his 20 year connection with Wright?

...Nevertheless, you have been around long enough to not bite on these campaign promises; whereas we both know, it does not matter which one of these dcikheads gets into office, we are still screwed. Both parties have had their day and the only thing that has changed in the past 50 years, is the national debt.

...Personally, I think the new chick can do a better job than either Obama or McCain and certainly Biden.

===============

Angel: Bush on his way out of the White House will be singing....I bombed, bombed bombed Iran! Good Luck Obama!

...That, I would not doubt to be an actual happening, although it will probably be Israel taking us with the vacuum to avoid a congressional fallout.

Why do people keep ignoring what counts? The only thing that counts when it comes to who wins this race?
The Electoral Votes.

The Electoral Votes.

On that day, the people count. Not the media, not the internet but the core power of democracy.

In that one brief moment, in private, each person has the power of the world in their hands. And in that moment, it matters not whom is voted for, only that they are, for a brief second free to choose their fate. To practice what so few people are allowed.

But in reality, it's the Electoral College that casts the votes. We can influence the Electoral College (by voting), but...

And from what I can tell, Obama will easily get 271 votes. He might get more, but anything above 270 is just gravy.

That is, if people vote like they normally do. Myself, I vote for my rep with my eye on them and what they will do. Not who is at the top unless of course, the top means a more beneficial or detrimental change than the bottom. Many things influence my vote. For example, if I cannot stand my local conservative rep then I will vote against them with a person I like or admire. In the case of the US, if I were there and had a candidate who was a democrat and outstanding in what their goals were for our state I would vote for them even if it meant McCain would not benefit. In this scenario, the republican candidate would have to be a total loser though.

And in 48 states, anyone who votes in the minority might as well have stayed home. (Two states, from what I've read, have proportional distribution of electoral votes. Maine and Nebraska, IIRC.)

That's why all these fool rants about "McCain is closing the gap in the popular vote" are so vexing. Who the heck cares about the popular vote? As we saw in 2000, it's possible to win the popular vote, and still lose the election.

I've posted numerous times, showing how Obama is carrying all the "blue" states, and McCain has conceded that Obama will probably carry at least three "red" states. That's 273 electoral votes. McCain is banking on keeping Virginia and winning Pennsylvania. While he might accomplish the former, it's not likely that he'll do the latter.

SNG, you're preaching to the choir here. I agree with everythng you are saying. Isn't that nice, going to bed with that glowing feeling in you knowing that 'Evil Novalite' gave a thumbs up to your entire line of thought?

Night Napa, rest well.

Whoever gets elected.. and it is not a done deal until the end..

I hope they remember who it was that put them there. At least the people who 'think' they put that elected leader there.

Oh joy. So if Obama wins, we get to listen to neo-cons whine for the next 4 to 8 years that "ACORN stole the election"?

I think it's more likely that it would only take two years, as it did between 1992 and 1994. The Democraps controlled virtually everything after the 1992 elections; after the 1994 voting, the Republicans had a net gain of 9 senate seats, 52 seats in the house, 11 governorships and an emasculated president who declaimed, "I Got the Message".

Clinton essentially became a Republican as a result of that election and Hillary and her ridiculous health care plans were buried.

I will be forever grateful to Bill Clinton for his failures in his first two years in office which brought about a change in congress that fostered one of the greatest growth period in our country's history: it allowed for my early retirement!!!

The networks are preparing for an early night on November 4th. Barn-burners are few and far between and there hasn't been a close race for President three races in a row since the middle of the 19th century. The McCain camp has already intimated that their candidate won't be showing up for his own election night party.

McCain didn't say he will, he said he might. Why would he want to swim in the Obama Cesspool and match his media spendings on election night!
